HAROLD POINT OF VIEW

I. Kissed. Her. Again.

I asked her to give us a try. She said yes.

"I gotta pee!" Jarold knocks on the bathroom door and whines. I shake my head and look at my reflection in the mirror. "You are going to make an ass of yourself," I whisper.

I open the door and the twin quickly goes in and does his business. I close the door and go to Cassandra's room. I knock softly. "Cassandra," I say her name.

The door opens and I see her in a floral print long dress and her hair loose and natural. She looks pretty.

"Hi," I try to sound as normal as possible. I am paranoid inside. Just yesterday we made out on her bed and I, surprisingly, asked her out. I just couldn't take it. I don't know why.

"Yeah?" She asks.

I fakely cough, "just that it is Sunday. You want to hang out?"

"So is this really happening?" She asks. She opens the door wider and gets closer to me. She smells like cinammon.

I shrug, "y-you want, you-we said we try right?" Oh man, I am freaking nervous inside.

"That quick?"

"Look, just-"

"No, fine, but I was going out with Roger. You know, to look normal," she says.

No, no way she is going to go out with him. I thought we established that.

"Haro-" she gets interrupted by Angel who pokes my shoulder. "Hey, mom wants to see everyone."

Cassandra gets out and closes the door. "Why?"

"Stop questioning everything," Angel rolls her eyes and we follow her downstairs.

Mom and dad are leaning against the kitchen sink.

"Morning," dad says.

"What's going on?" Cassandra asks.

"Well," mom clears her throat, "wait and the twins?"

They come running in, "we are here!"

"Good," mom continues, "so as you know, your father decided to tell everyone what happened. And so, tonight we will have a get together and we will have a young woman interview your father to make a statement to the public."

"Really?" I ask.

Dad nods, "the thruth always prevails. Even if sometimes we think its bad at first. I don't want to hide Cassandra anymore."

"Thanks!" Cassandra hugs dad. "This is the man i know you are father."

"Alright," mom says. "So i need you three to buy something nice for tonight. It's more than casual."

"But I am not staying," Angel says, "Austin is taking me out."

"No," Dad says, "I need everyone here. Invite him over if you like."

"Ugh!" Angel yells, "fine!" She storms into her room.

"So do we need to get dressed up too?" The twins ask Mom. She nods. "Aww man!"

"Here, take Cassandra shopping," Dad gives me a credit card. "Buy Angel something too."

"Alright," I say.

"Wait, what about you? You are not upset?" Mom asks me.

Darn, should I? Should I act like I do?

"Whatever, cant do anything about it right?" I say.

Dad walks towards me and pats my shoulder. "Just give this a chance."
