CASSANDRA POINT OF VIEW

Next Day

Kelly drives everyone to school. Angel, Harold, and I get out if the car. Eveyone seems to notice us and it feels weird. If they knew we were step siblings not cousins.

Angel runs towards Austin. She wraps her legs around him and kisses him. Harold makes an "ew" sound and walks with me still. I look at him, "you aren't going to leave me alone?"

"Yes but I am heading in almost the same direction as you that's all," he says. We enter the next hallway and I see Roger leaning against the door of my first class. But he is frowning at Harold.

I stop in front of Roger; Harold is still with me.

"What?" Roger asks Harold. "You her body guard now?"

"Step off," Harold says.

"Stop it," I get in between them.

Harold gets my hand. "My dad doesn't approve this." He pulls me towards him.

"Oh yeah forgot Mr. Mayor is Cassandra's father," Roger smirks.

Harold quickly looks at me, "you told him?"

The school bell rings and I quickly go inside the classroom. Gosh, I am going to get into more trouble.

...

Lunch Break: I am slowly walking to the cafeteria. I don't want to see Harold.

"Boo!" Roger grabs me from behind.

I scream for him to put me down. "Stop!"

He chuckles and kisses me. He wraps his arms around me. "Why are you grumpy?"

I push him, "I also don't want to see you."

"Why? Look Harold started it all, not me," he says.

"I don't want to talk," I walk in the girl's restroom. I wash my hands and face. I look at myself in the mirror. Is he really interested in me? Would Roger be the type of guy to play a girl? I open the door and see him lean next to it. He is so cute! How can be be a player? Well, that contradicts what I said, ugh!!

He smiles, "You done thinking?"

I roll my eyes, "Be quiet." I walk out of the restroom and stand in front of him. I spot his watch on his left hand. It is ten minutes till lunch is over.

"We need to talk," I say.

"About?"

"You dated my sister, who did wjat and why did you brake up?" I put my hands on my hips.

He rolls his eyes, "oh that."

"Yeah, when were you going to tell me?"

"When I will take you out on our date," he says. "Did your brother tell you that?"

I nod. "Why though?"

He leans on his back on the wall and looks at the ceiling lights. "We dated for 4 months. She told me first the three words. I told her I might be feeling the same way. She got upset I didn't tell her those three words back."

"And?"

"We solved it. I thought we were doing good and well I took her to a fancy dinner and then to a hotel. I wanted to be with her and maybe by making love to her, I would prove to her that I was serious."

"So did you have sex?"

"No. She got scared. I was nervous too, it was my first time."
