"I'm sorry, I-i-i didn't mean it, it just it-", Amanda said as Myles was silent. He'd been staring at the ground since she'd blurted out the very words she would do anything to take back. "Came out because you meant them?", Myles said still staring at the ground. Before Amanda went on he continued, "stop, dont apologize, we just, I just, I just need some time to think things out" he said as he finally looked up into her eyes. His eyebrows were creased together, and Amanda could tell he was thinking hard. She knew everything there was to know about him, every thought that went through his mind without him speaking of it. She knew this was hard on him, and if she could, she would take everything back in a heart beat. Amanda didn't say anything back to him, figuring it was best to stay quiet before she caused more damage. "Look, I'll see you tonight at cam's birthday", He said as he grabbed her hand. A shock of electricity ran through Amanda's body at the feel of him touching her. "And don't worry, we'll figure this out", he said with a faint smile before he got in his car and left. Amanda walked back to her car slumly, she was ready to go home and pass out in hopes of never waking back up, when her phone rang, bringing her back to earth, it was Savannah.

"Will you stop staring at me and keep your eyes on the road", Serena said sarcastically with a smile. "It's not you im staring at, it's the French fries on your lap" Kalin said back, laughing. Serena gave Kalin a face as he continued, "feed me another one please". Serena took a handful and leaned towards Kalin, whose mouth was rested open, awaiting for its fries, she then unexpectedly pulled on the neckline of his shirt, tossing the fries down. Kalin stared at the road for a good minute before reacting, "are you really trying to tell me you threw French fries down my shirt right now" he said while Serena silently shook of laughter in the passengers seat. "Someone's salty" she said laughing even harder, before continuing, "Sorry, I had too, you were looking at something other than me, it had to be done" she said jokingly. He laughed a little as he pulled a French fry from out his shirt, "I'm gonna get you back, just wait for it", he said as he turned to her. She stuck her tongue out at him as he winked back at her.
Kalin turned into the overcrowded parking lot. Almost everyone from school was invited, Serena could almost hear all gossip that was about to go on tonight. "Kalin maybe we should just ditch" she said grabbing his hand as he put the car into park. "C'mon babe, you really going to let people control your life? Who cares what people have to say? You have me, you have your family, and you have your true friends, screw everyone else" he said back comfortingly. Serena smiled back at him in agreement, "you're right, let's go" she said shaking her head as she shut the car door.

"We're an hour late, huuurrr-eyyy up Amanda", Savannah called from downstairs. "I'm almost done" Amanda said back as she headed down the stairs, "just need my shoes". Savannah stared at her friend in admiration, "you go glenn coco, If myles doesn't realize how lucky he is tonight, then I say ditch him because he's dumb". Amanda smiled at her best friend, "thanks but I really doubt I'll be the attention of his focus", she said while she zipped her boots up. Savannah wished there was a way she could show her how much better she was than Serena, but she couldn't. No matter how hard Savannah tried, Amanda always ended up putting herself beneath Serena. "God I hate her so much for getting in the way of you two", Savannah says loudly. "Well that makes two of us", Amanda says while checking herself in the mirror one last time. "On the bright side, I think I'm finally gonna get back together with Kalin tonight", Savannah says smiling brightly. "What?? But I thought it was horrible last time you guys talked", Amanda says back grabbing her bag from the closet.
"It did, but something happened that night when he said bye, something sparked".

Myles glared at Kalin in annoyance from across the alley as Kalin whispered something in Serena's ear. "Gah, they're so annoying", Myles said to Tyler. "They are man, can't believe he had the guts to come with h- woah is that Amanda?", he said pointing to a new and improved Amanda Taylor. Myles stared as Tyler lifted his jaw back up for him, unaware it had fallen from the start. "That doesn't even look like her, she actually kind of looks kind of..", Tyler started. "Kind of hot", Myles said making his way to Amanda.

Savannah flipped her hair to one side and applied another coat of her favorite lip gloss, as she found Kalin alone at the arcade portion of the alley. "Kay I'm gonna talk to him, wish me luck, meet you up-" Savannah said before she realized Amanda was no longer at her side. Myles and her were talking at a table nearby. Making eye contact, Savannah rolled her eyes as she passed myles, making her way to Kalin. Just before she reached him, she decided to check her makeup in the bathroom mirror. 'Wish I wasn't so damn insecure' Savannah thought to herself before opening the door to the rest room. Walking up to a open mirror she pulled out her makeup bag when Serena came out of a stall. Making quick eye contact, Savannah made sure to let her know she wasn't liked, however it didn't seem to phase Serena as she walked right past her. Savannah threw her makeup bag in her purse and they both made their way out of the restroom.
'Ok this is the moment', Savannah thought to herself as she walked towards Kalin. "Baby what took you so long" he said from across the room. Savannah turned around noticing he was speaking right through her, "Cmon now don't be cheesy"Serena said as she walked past Savannah once more and made her way to the reason myles wasn't with Serena.

"You look amazing Amanda", Myles said smiling. "Thanks Meelz" Amanda said returning the smile. It got kind of awkward for awhile before Myles continued, "Ok so I think we should talk? But not here.."
