It was cold outside as Yoongi shivered.
He didn't know if he was there out of curiosity or he was just plain crazy. Maybe both. He resisted the urge to join Taehyung, Jimin, J-Hope and Namjoon eating out at Jae's workplace. Jin decided to stay and eat with him and Jungkook as having four members in a place at the same time would draw a crowd. He hoped not, as the patrons from before was respectful to their privacy. Having all seven of them to go out without any restaurant reservation and a plan would cause chaos.
Yoongi's, Jin's and Jungkook's supper at the agency was pleasant until their online group chat was bombarded with many messages from those who went.
Jae was playing again.
Jimin was complaining that the restaurant had a no video recording and picture taking policy of anyone who plays the musical instruments. They can take pictures of the food, the restaurant, but not of the performer who performs. One of the customers a table away from them was reprimanded for recording.
BH J-Hope: I feel like I'm doing something illegal
BH Jin: What did you do?
BH J-Hope: Trying to video Jae but failing miserably. The manager kept on looking where my phone is aiming at
BH RM: This is how our fans must have felt when they can't record us
BH Jimin: *sends audio file*
BH Taehyung: Jimin-ah didn't know you recorded that
BH Jimin: They didn't say anything about recording the sound
BH RM: She is amazing
BH Jin: WOW, good job Jimin. What's that she was playing?
BH Taehyung: Chopin's Etude. I don't know which but it's one of the Etude.
BH Jimin: I feel weird typing in here when I have three of you in front of me
BH J-Hope: She's playing and I don't feel good talking while she's at it. I'm not good at whispering
BH Namjoon: Are you sure she's just a part timer here and at our agency? She must be doing something music related too
BH Taehyung: I checked on Naver. It was difficult because there was not much information but she wrote and co-produced that song for Monster Tree
BH RM: What's that?
BH Jimin: It's a game. Remember the song that got that gag award for earworm of the year? The one that Taehyung never stopped humming and drove everyone crazy?
BH RM: Which one? Taehyung hums a lot
BH Jin: *sends audio file*
BH RM: That one?! That was really addictive and annoying at the same time.
BH J-hope: It's only annoying when someone hums that up to you ear out of nowhere
BH Taehyung: Not my fault. It was infectious.
BH J-Hope: Hey what is this song?
BH Jin: Share, I want to hear too
BH Jimin: *sends audio file*
BH Taehyung: *sends audio file*
BH RM: It's that creepy song from 28 Days Later
BH Taehyung: I'm scared....
BH J-Hope: LOL someone shouted from the kitchen for her to play something else. She's driving the customers away.
BH Taehyung: And making the kitchen crew scared too
BH Jimin: LOL the table behind us actually left
BH RM: The song is beautiful actually. It's not creepy
BH Jimin: Beautifully creepy
BH Taehyung: Jimin-ah, Hope-hyung, can I bunk in with you guys tonight?
BH Jin: Not you too, Taehyung
Yoongi finished up his food and excused himself from the pantry. Jungkook read the messages without replying to the chatroom and listened to the files. He was talking about Jae to Jin. The messages kept on coming.
And that brought him to where he was at that time.
Outside the restaurant as midnight nears.
From the messages he read, the four boys already left. He was mulling again on the reason he was there when he saw Jae coming out and walked to her next destination. Probably to the convenience store.
Yoongi was thinking too long when Jae took a turn. Then he started following her, wondering that she could need some company. Jae was walking really fast that Yoongi had to jog to get to her. He was about to call for her until Jae turned so suddenly and sprayed him with something.
"Aaaargh!!!" he shouted in pain.
