The plane took off an hour before noon after the runway was cleared. The weather was nice with some speck of clouds in the sky. Jae hoped there would be no turbulence along the way. She doesn't like long flights that much. This 2 and a half an hour flight was just fine as compared to the near 15 hour non stop flight she took from New York to Seoul years ago. The seatbelt sign went off and Jae could hear the collective clicking of the seatbelts in the cabin.

Jae looked at Yoongi who was already snoozing next to her at the window seat.

The original plan for 'a sent off at the airport' changed to 'flying together to Japan'. He had a concert scheduled in Nagoya on the 13th. After working and negotiating through his schedule, he would fly off to Tokyo first with Jae on the 11th. On the 12th, the rest of his group members would fly straight to Chubu Centrair Airport which was nearer to Nagoya and Yoongi would take the bullet train early in the morning to join them when they touch down in Chubu. Since Jae had to go to the game developer's studio on the 15th, she only needed to inform her new landlord about her one day delay.

This time, Jae didn't give him a hard time for getting tickets for both of them to Narita Airport, Tokyo. First class seats were not available for the flight they were taking so he settled for business class, just because of the privacy it provided. He went through all the trouble in making the arrangement and she didn't know when else they would be able to get together again. She already exceeded her hand luggage capacity by bringing her laptop and mini studio. Yoongi saved her by bringing half of it as his.

The on-flight meal came and she woke Yoongi up. Yoongi stretched out after removing his seatbelt and they ate. The announcement about their relationship was released the day before and as expected they received a lot of reactions, both good and bad. When she asked him if he was okay with some of the hate comments online, he told her he was used to that since he debuted and didn't bother to read through all of those. The company didn't disclose her identity, only to tell the public to respect their privacy.

They went straight away to Jae's new house after Jae collected her luggage. They met up with Mr Hasegawa Takahashi, the landlord, and went through the leasing contract. The landlord was able to speak English fluently and his Korean was passable so Jae didn't have any trouble communicating with him.

Mr Hasegawa did a double take on Yoongi. "You look really familiar," he said. "You look like BTS."

Yoongi just smiled. "I get that a lot."

Jae had to hide her laugh. "I told you before, wearing your favored Fear of God T-shirt under your unzipped jacket would give away your identity," she said under her breath when Mr Hasegawa left them to make some copies of the documents.

Did he listen?

Of course not.

They were brought to the house. The door of the house opens to the kitchen area, with the shower door on their first left and the toilet door on their second. Both of them were separated. The kitchen housed a small dining table for 2. There was also a stove, a kitchen sink, a microwave, a fridge and a washing machine. There was a curtain separating the kitchen from the main living area. The landlord moved the curtain and Jae was happy with what she saw. There was a closet on her right and a two-seat couch right next to it. There was a desk on her left and the bed was next to it at the corner left of the room. There were no windows but there was a sliding door that led them to the small balcony. It looked exactly as it was on the internet.

"This place looks good," commented Yoongi. "Is the fire alarm and sprinkler working?" he asked as he looked up at the ceiling.

"Of course. We engage a fire safety consultant for our yearly maintenance and checks," assured the landlord. "There's a fire exit plan on the door in case of emergency," he pointed to the door.
