Yoongi was looking at his watch as he stood at the corner alley where Jae would walk through to get to the bus stop. He took a nap at home after he landed from Paris and woke up as it was nearing 11 p.m. He scratched out the initial plan of having dinner at the restaurant where Jae works and now he was just outside, waiting for her.

Touring was fun and exhausting at the same time. He didn't realize how much he was looking forward to Jae's messages daily, no matter how short and terse it would be. When she stopped texting and receiving his Skype calls, it drove him nuts. Was he such a bully when he confessed his feelings? He didn't force her to like him either. He didn't have much time for relationship and yet here he was, waiting for Jae. When the world look at him, they saw Suga, the rapper of BTS. They saw him as a person who is up there on the pedestal.

With Jae, he felt different. He was the same guy from Daegu who tried his best at everything. Granted, she was no longer that bright eyed teenager who followed him around with her heart on her sleeves, but she has grown up to be a much more intriguing person.

He was browsing through his phone when Jae suddenly walked pass him. When Jae said she had a tunnel vision, she was not kidding. Yoongi kept his phone immediately and was about to tap on her shoulder when he was suddenly brought down to the ground.

He was in shock to even respond when he heard Jae shouted.

"Mr Gil! No!" shouted Jae as the big guy was about to slam his big fist on Yoongi's face after kicking him. Another guy was about to do the same when Jae pushed him away in a split second.

"He was about to mob you," stated the big guy whom Jae called Mr Gil.

"No, he didn't mean to," said Jae as she pulled Yoongi up. "He's a friend," she explained.

Yoongi was still stunned. Jae was not kidding when she said she have guardian thugs protecting her. He stood up with Jae's help. His ribs felt sore

"Next time, don't lurk around and call her name. You look like you're up to no good," Mr Gil huffed as he went back to where he was from.

"Are you okay?" asked Jae to Yoongi.

"I'm okay. You were not kidding when you told me about them," Yoongi blinked, still in shock. He was just a second away from being thrashed in by the two big and menacing thugs.

"You're probably gonna hate this line, but – I told you so," she said as she inspecting him for injuries. "They brought you down real hard. Are you really okay?" she asked as she put her hand behind him checking.

Yoongi smiled and was loving the attention as her hand went on around him until she touched a sore spot. "Ow!" he exclaimed.

Jae turned on the flashlight on her phone as she pulled Yoongi's shirt up and saw the damage. "Whoa, that's gonna bruise," she commented. "We need to get you to the hospital to check your ribs."

"Did you just pull my shirt up?" asked Yoongi.

"Of course," said Jae still holding his shirt looking at the bruise.

"I would enjoy this if it's in a different situation," Yoongi teased.

Jae went blank and let go of his shirt as quickly as she could. "We need to get you to the hospital," repeated Jae acting nonchalant to hide her reaction.

"No, no hospital. I didn't break anything. I'm sure," said Yoongi, feeling his ribs. "You have anything planned?" asked Yoongi casually despite the throbbing pain he was already feeling. It was Friday and he knew it's her day off at the store.

"Let's get back to the restaurant. We got lots of ice and a first aid kit," said Jae, helping him to the restaurant. The restaurant lights were off. Chan-Ri and Ki-Tae was about to bring down the shutter door when Jae and Yoongi reached them.
