Friday, 19th October - near noon
Sunlight was streaming through the curtain in Yoongi's room as noon drew near. His last meal was Jae's fried rice and he was getting hungry. His intermittent fasting could hold for a while. He needed food. He could order for delivery since their fridge was practically empty when they were away during the tour. The biggest obstacle he had now was getting out of the bed. He could do this, he told himself.
He checked his phone before moving and there was a message from Jae.
Jae: Good morning. Are you okay? How's your ribs?
Yoongi smiled. No nonsense Jae, always straight to the point and no dilly-dallying unless there's something she was avoiding. He looked at the clock and it was 11.45 a.m. She was probably either on the way to Big Hit or she was already there. He replied the text saying he was okay but needed more TLC from Jae the next time they met.
Jae: More healing patch for you then. Gotta work, take care
Yoongi laughed at her reply.
"Yoongi-ah, are you up?" asked Jin from his part of the room.
"I'm awake," replied Yoongi.
Jin appeared then, approaching Yoongi, "I'm hungry. Want to go out for lunch?"
"Can we just call for delivery?" suggested Yoongi as he sat and swung his legs to the side of his bed. He flinched and hissed from the pain he was expecting.
"What's wrong?" asked Jin, worried.
"Just sore."
"You slept too long on one side again, did you?" asked Jin.
"No," answered Yoongi abruptly. "Do we have dance practice tomorrow?"
"Of course. It's nearly end of the year, you know the drill," said Jin.
Yoongi went up and went out to the living room and again Yoongi flinched.
"You've been flinching non-stop. What's wrong?" Jin asked again.
"Nah, it's nothing," Yoongi replied and groaned as he sat. "I feel old," he grumbled.
"You always feel old but I'm older and more energetic than you," teased Jin.
"I'm ordering in. I don't feel like going out," admitted Yoongi. He hoped the bruises won't be that troublesome when they have practice the next day.
"Guys, change of plans," announced Namjoon as he went to the living room.
"What is it hyung?" asked Jungkook, following behind Namjoon.
"There's a change in the choreography so there's a practice at 2. I send you the details in your phone," said Namjoon, looking up from his phone. Simultaneously, all of the phones were buzzing with incoming message. "The car's gonna pick us up at 1.30 p.m." he continued.
Yoongi groaned miserably.

Same day - 1.20 p.m.
"Hyung are you ready?" asked Jimin barging into Yoongi's room as Yoongi as about to change. "Whoa," Jimin was stunned as he saw the bruise, covered by the patches on Yoongi's ribs and back. "Hyung, what happened?"
Yoongi wore his shirt hastily, "Just some minor wound."
"No, that's not minor. Can you practice today? You can just tell Teacher Son about it," Jimin suggested, referring to their creative director at the company.
