Chuseok, many years forward.
The Min family had just returned from the grave site and was preparing for the family lunch. Jae was busy in the kitchen with the other family members serving out the food when she realized her 16 year old daughter was missing. Wiping her hands dry, she excused herself from the kitchen and went to the living room.
"Joon-ah, where's your sister?" Jae asked Kyung Joon, their 13 year old son who was playing games with his cousins.
"I don't know. She was here just now," replied Kyung Joon and went back to his game.
"Chagiya," Jae called Yoongi. 'Oppa' got switched to 'darling' gradually after they got married. Yoongi didn't hear her that first time as he was reading his book. "Min Yoongi-ssi," called Jae again, louder and that got his attention. "Did you see Kyung Hee? She was supposed to help with the food."
"She brought some out just now. I thought you asked her to send it to the neighbor," said Yoongi.
"Jae, come here," called her mother-in-law. She was at one of the windows, looking out. Jae went to her and Yoongi followed suit. "Doesn't that look familiar?" asked Yoongi's mom who was grinning from ear to ear.
Jae looked through the window, aghast. There was her daughter, acting coy and sweet in her hanbok, handing the food to the neighbor's grandson who was home for the holiday. "No," lamented Jae.
"That just reminds me of you," said Yoongi, grinning too.
"She looks just like you when you were that age. An apple doesn't fall far from the tree," said her mother-in-law.
"I really should tell her to be more subtle in showing her interest to someone she likes. That's just embarrassing," said Jae.
"Too late. She knew our story," said Yoongi.
Jae looked at Yoongi sharply. "Whose idea was it to join in Danny's walk through the memory lane when he told her about it?" of course, it was Danny who did a grand recollection of what Jae did when they went to visit for Christmas. "Someone's going to sleep outside tonight."
"Doesn't mean much. I am already sleeping on the couch in the living room since the bedroom is already full when we got here," retorted Yoongi.
"It went well with both of you," said her mom-in-law.
"And it is well remembered by everyone," Jae sighed.
"You were cute and persistent. How can I not fall for that?" said Yoongi.
"Come on, let's prepare lunch. She'll be back real soon," she said, ushering Jae to the kitchen. "Yoongi-ah, call your daughter home. It's unbecoming of her," she commanded after Jae left.
Yoongi went out laughing before putting on his 'serious dad' face. Parenthood is a tough job especially when their kids became teenagers. With Jae, he was all for it. Life was never boring.

Author's note:
Yoongi's & Jae's kids's name in my story was chosen based on Yeoheung Min's dollimja - which is the name set for each generation. Yoongi is the 31st generation of Min, as to why his name was Min XX Gi. Being the 30th generation, his father's name is Min Byung XX. The 32nd generation name would be Min Kyung XX as to why I chose Kyung Hee and Kyung Joon. It's optional for daughters but parents could just follow it if they want to. Nowadays, some family still follow dollimja and some don't.
You can watch the episode of Knowing Brothers where one of the cast, Min Kyung Hoon was egged to call Yoongi, uncle as he's the 32nd generation Min, even if he's older than Yoongi. The generation hierarchy is important there.

My notebook:
Last but least - my little notebook. It's always satisfying to write down that end date. My handwriting is messy btw.
It's bittersweet though. After these few months, it's like saying goodbye to old friends.
It's the end of my story. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed writing it. I would like to thank everyone who read, commented and voted along the way. You know who you are and you guys kept me going. Sorry for making you cry at certain chapters. You made me grin like an idiot as I read through your comments and some of the chapters were written right after reading your comments. Every one of you became my muse. Thanks!
Next story? Give me some time to brainstorm. If it fits perfectly, then I will start writing. I won't write before I get those ideas in place.
See you guys around!
