That night Kaya felt very uneasy going to bed. She knew something was wrong. She snuck out of her bedroom and past Zuko's to the main common area where Fire Lord Ozai and Ursa (Zuko's mom) were talking. She could not make out exactly what they were saying but she had a feeling that this was going to be the last time she would ever see Ursa again. That night she was completely restless and did not sleep at all. Her head was full of thoughts.
Is she dead?
Did he kill her?
Did she take Zuko with her?
Will he be ok?
Eventually she fell asleep and awoke to soft crying in the other room.
"Zuko?" Kaya asked walking into his room.
"Kaya get out." He replied sternly.
"Zuko im here to help if you need anything."
"I dont need help I need to be alone."
"ok im in my room if you need anything." Kaya replied.
Kaya felt so bad for Zuko. She loved him so much and hated seeing him in that state. Meanwhile, She could see Azula's fire bending class from outside her window. She could tell that there was something off about her. She was not grounded properly. Any wrong move and she would be knocked off her feet.
"Kaya?"
Kaya turns around to see one of the servants working in the palace.
" yes?" She responds.
"The Fire lord requests your presence."
Kaya quickly got dressed and headed to see Ozai, the man whom she despised the most.
