Merry Christmas lovelies! So sorry that I haven't popsted anything in a while. I've had a lot to do before holiday break at school-teachers were loading on the homework and the term papers and other projects. I've also had to go Christmas shopping and work a bit. I hope you all know that I try to update when I can, but sometimes when I'm asked to update, it puts a lot of pressure on me. I've got a life to live and schools to look at, ya know.

Sorry for the little rant. Anyway, on to the story!!

        Andy's POV

Could what Juliet said be true? Could this girl really be the one?

I thought about the traning session I had had with Jessie last night. I had the idea of putting her up against each of us, the Wild Ones, seeing who would win each fight. She had beaten nearly all of us, except CC, who was able to hold her off with huge gusts of wind to knock her off her feet. Ashley came close to cracking his skull against the floor, though he surrendered before it happened.

Could she really be the Wild One?

In the cities, there was a legend that parents would tell their kids before bed. It was the story of the Wild One, a human being that had the power to bring down anything in their path, stopping at nothing to get what this world needed. In most tellings, the world needed peace or freedom. If the Wild One succeeded in defeating the obstacle, everything would go back to the way it once was, where every girl and boy was able to love who they wanted, be what they wanted, and could go anywhere on this Earth without fear of the consequences.

The only reason we called called ourselves the Wild Ones was because we had all thought that we would be the one to bring F.E.A.R down for good. Boy, were we wrong. Even CC's control over the elements stood no chance against it. I could fight like hell, but F.E.A.R's leader still put me on my ass in two seconds flat. He had let us all go, though each of us was exiled from ever coming back to our city. Days after our banishment, the city found themselves burning. CC took care of that one.

I walked around the camp, nodding to the soldiers who greeted me as I passed by. Most of them were getting their gear ready for travel. The Uprisings were to start up again, after we arrived at the first city in the black of night. We had a two day trip a head of us.

I reached my destination with few stops along the way, though a few of the kids in the training room had been seeking help with new moves. They were very grateful that I had been checking up on them as I passed by. After I had continued to Ashley's, where I found him and Jessie bent over a map. They had been pointing to a sectioned off part of the map, Ashley explaining to her what it was. They retracted their hands when they heard me enter.

"Ash," I pulled him a side a moment, giving the girl a good morning ruffle of the hair, like always. I lowered my voice so she wouldn't over hear. "Do you think Jules was right?"

The Deviant blew his bangs out of his eyes, shrugging. "I don't know man, maybe." He leaned closer, his brown eyes glancing over at Jessie, who had gone back to studying the map. "She certainly has the capability..." He trailed off when she looked up at us with a quizzical look.

"What does this mean?" Ashley went back to the map, peering at the words scribbled above her finger.

"City 1781?" Ash straightened up, leaning against a post.

"Yeah, why is it just a bunch of numbers? Why not a name?" She looked over the rest of the map quickly, noticing it was one of the bigger names on there. "Why is it so much bigger than the others?"

"That's where all of this," I gestured around the tent, my eyes grazing over the mountains of battle plans before resting on the girl's small form. "Will pay off."

"T-That's where the final Uprising will happen?" Jessie crossed her arms, a tattoo being revealed under the short sleeve of her shirt.

"Yes," Ashley and I blurted out in unison. The man rolled his eyes at me, finishing. "That's where we'll need you most, dear." The map was then replaced with plans for he and I to look over, so she left us with a nod. I watched her walk out, her daggers bumping against her the top of her thighs with each step she took.

"We have to make sure one of us is with her," The words fell out of my mouth as soon as she was gone. "If we're wrong and she isn't the one-"

"Calm down," Ashley held up a hand to silence me. "I've got that covered. CC is going with her, since he just about matches you in skill." He turned to jot down a few more things onto the paper, glancing over his shoulder at me briefly. "Unless you want to be the one that goes with her. After all, F.E.A.R was the one who..." Upon seeing my torn expression at the memory of hearing the final cry that left my girlfriend's lips just before she died, he trained his eyes back on his words. "Well, the offer still stands. Just let CC know so he can settle into his Plan B."

"I'll talk to him." I started for the door. "That'll be all then?" I heard the man mutter yes behind me, so I took my leave to help prepare the soldiers that weren't coming with us. Those that weren't coming would need some guidance on what to do while most of us were away.

We can't come back to the place competely trashed, now can we?
