Chapter 17

(Jasper P.O.V)

Midterms are the worst. I sat at dinning room table. Staring at my study guides as if I were going to magically get it.

"It would help if you actually read the papers." Danny came and sat at in the chair next to me bringing me a can of coke.

"Yeah, like I haven't done that a thousand times." I laughed opening my coke taking a huge gulp.

"Well I have." He said sarcastically putting his hand on my thigh. I looked at his hand then at him.

"So did you and Jamie break up?" He asked too curiously.

"No we made up instead" I was about to take another sip of my coke before he snatched it out of my hand.

"Japser he was cheating on you." he said angrily.

"He was drunk and off his meds."

"Still, that doesn't give him a free get away with cheating pass. He could've been lying." he took a sip of my coke.

"But he wasn't"

"What about us?" he slide the coke to me.

"What do you mean us?" I laughed.

"We kissed. I told you I wanted you" he frowned moving his hand up my leg. I moved his hand.

"You forced me to smoke and got me high, then basically raped me."

"At least I didn't show my di-"

"Look Danny you must still be stoned because you hated homosexuals and now all of a suddenly you are one." I waited for him to say something harsh but he sighed getting up and kissing my cheek.

"Jasper you don't understand..." he shook his head and left out the door.

"Don't understand what?" Mom said placing a hand on my shoulder. I jumped slightly.

"How hard the midterms are going to be....still think it's going to be a piece if cake." I lied.

"Don't flatter yourself," she huffed.

"So....whats up? " I asked her.

"I don't think I like Jamie as much as everyone eles does. I think you guys are
moving a little too fast."

"Mom I don't want to hear this" I got up gathering my things.

"Jasp hear me out. What if in the future you realize you don't want this? You want a wife and kids. I want grandchildren.....lots of them. And with Jamie our family would never be able to have that."

"If you want grandchildren so much get them from Daniel" I spat.

"What about grandma and grandpa? Christmas is right around the corner what are you going to tell everyone then?"

"I'm going to tell then that I like penis."

"Jasper don't you cant tell my family that!!!" Mom said shocked. She did have a point. My grandparent on both sides would have a heart attack.

"Are you embarrassed of me?"

"No baby, it's just that.....Jamie asked could he and his father spend Christmas with us and I couldn't tell him no. You know how old school your grandparents are. They won't stand for it.They still haven't even accepted your father, not to mention his wedding is next month and his parents are not coming."

"So what do you want me to do?" I raised my eye brow.

"I want you and Jamie to be friends just around them until they leave."
