*Sofia's P.O.V.*

"Hi sweetie, how was your trip?" My mom embraced me as soon as I went through the exit doors at the airport.

"It was amazing mom. More than I could've ever wished for."

"I'm so happy for you. So, was Niall's family good to you? I know you said that they were nice to you, but I just want to make sure they were, now that Niall's not around."

"Yeah, they were great to me, they made me feel included and like I was a part of their family."

"Good, good."

"Oh my god. You're Sofia!" A girl suddenly ran up to us. My mom was startled obviously, but I had already been stopped about 8 times during my trip and at the airport, so I wasn't as startled. Although I'll admit, it is kind of weird.

"Hi, yeah." I nervously laughed, while my mom just stood there to the side.

"Wow, you're so pretty."

"Aww thank you so much!"

"Can we take a picture? Or is that weird?"

"Sure we can. Mom can you take it?" I asked, since I hated selfies and my mom was the only other person around.

"Of course sweetie."

"Thank you so much!" The girl exclaimed after we took the picture.

"No problem!"

"Tell Niall and the boys that I love them!"

"Will do!" I laughed.

"What the fuck was that?" My mom asked me as soon as the girl was out of hearing range.

"I don't want to sound too cocky, but I've been getting stopped some times since Niall and I went public with our relationship."

"Wow."

"I know, it's weird isn't it?"

"A bit. But hey, if you don't mind it, I don't either."

"It's not too bad. I just didn't think I'd get recognized here in Monterrey."

All throughout the ride home I was so nervous, I didn't know how to tell my parents that Niall had asked me to move in with him. I knew that they wouldn't stop me from moving in with him, but they would for sure be sad. It was one thing to move out of your house and still live in the same city or within driving distance, but I was moving to LA and it wasn't that close to home. I just hope they don't overreact. I decided not to tell my mom right away and wait until dinner time, so my dad could be there too and I didn't have to tell them twice.

After unpacking and catching up with my siblings and with my friends over the phone, the dreaded time came around. It was finally dinner time. Shit. And Niall wasn't even able to calm me down through the phone since he was already asleep, which made things even worse. My palms started sweating and I could've sworn I felt a sweat drop run through my back. Only adding to my nervousness. I'm such a procrastinator and I decided to leave it for the very end. I wanted to have a peaceful dinner in case things didn't go out as planned. Imagine if I told them at the very beginning and they got mad or started crying or some shit, it was going to be one hell of an awkward dinner. So that's why I decided to wait until the end.
