Still The One (Niall Horan)

Chapter 2

*Niall's P.O.V.*

"See you later petal." I whispered as I kissed Soph's forehead. I had to go to the studio very early in the morning and I didn't want to wake her up. She'd be meeting us at the studio at lunch time and then stay with us the rest of the day. 

"Bye Nialler." She responded in a sleepy voice before turning around and going back to sleep. I tiptoed as quietly as I could and made my way out of the room. A half an hour later I was already in the studio. Harry and Liam were already there, since they're always on time. Zayn and Louis still hadn't arrived, but I was used to it, they were never on time. 

"So which song do you want to record first guys?" Julian, our producer, asked.

"Why don't record one of the songs you wrote Liam?" I suggested. We had each written 2 songs for the album and then wrote the other 6 songs together. That way we'd each have songs of our own and that could represent our solo careers and 6 other songs that represented us as a band.

"Sure, that'd be great." Liam spoke. "Which one do you want to do first?"

"Crash Into Me?" Harry chimed in.

"Yes, let's do that one."

"Perfect."

"I'm here boysss." Louis' voice echoed through the studio as he announced his presence.

"We're in here Boo Bear." Harry hollered before we heard Louis' footsteps approaching.

"And Zayn?" He inquired after scanning the room.

"I'm here!" Zayn opened the door.

"Late as always Zayn." Louis shook his head.

"You just got here Louis!" Liam exclaimed.

"Liam! Shut up! He didn't need to know that." Louis complained making us all laugh. I had really missed recording with the guys, I had almost forgotten how much fun we had when we were in the studio together. 

"So, for those of you who weren't here on time. And yes that includes you Louis." Harry turned towards Louis and stared at him so he wouldn't protest. "We're gonna do Crash Into Me."

"Fine by me." Louis spoke with his arms crossed, acting as if he were mad.

"Great! Loved that song Liam!" Zayn exclaimed with a huge smile. It was nice seeing Zayn back with us and him genuinely smiling. It felt good to have the whole gang back together.

*Sofia's P.O.V.*

"See you later petal." I hear Niall speak before feeling a tender kiss on my forehead. 

"Bye Nialler." I responded, more asleep than awake before turning around and going back to sleep. It was still too early for me to function correctly. 

I woke up 2 hours later, at 9 am, so at a decent time to wake up. I went to the kitchen to make myself something for breakfast only to find that Niall had already prepared it for me. He had left me waffles and he even left of the Nutella for me. I couldn't help but smile when I saw that he had taken the time to make me breakfast. As I got closer to the table I saw that there was a note too.

Morning petal. Can't wait to see you at the studio later today. Hope you like the waffles. Love you :)

Niall was the definition of boyfriend goals. Seriously, how did I get so lucky? As soon as I sat down at the table I wrote a message to thank him.

S: Thanks for the waffles baby

S: Absolutely loved them

S: Can't wait to see you either

S: And I love you too. You're the best boyfriend ever!

After breakfast I decided to get some work done so that I could get over with it. And I had a fantastic morning, I aced all of my trades, which meant that I earned a whole lot of money. And you know what they say, you should stop while you're on the lead. So after I made 8 grand, I decided that that was enough for the day. I checked the time and it was already 11:30 am, so I decided to leave. I was going to stop to get food for everyone and then go to the studio.

"Hi guys!" I exclaimed as soon as I opened the door to the studio. The guys were already on their lunch break, even though I was bringing them their lunch.

"Food!!" Louis hollered, launching towards me and snatching the bags from my hands.

"Hello to you too Louis." I laughed.

"Sorry hi." He apologized as he started taking the things out from the bags.

"Hi babe." Niall stood up from the couch and embraced me before placing a tender kiss on my lips.

"Hi baby. I missed you."

"Missed you too. So glad you're here."

"Yeah, I can't wait to see how you guys record your music."

"But first things first, let's eat."

"You read my mind." I smiled at him.

An hour later, after everyone was fed and happy, the boys started recording again. They all filled me in during lunch, they had already recorded one of Liam's songs called Crash Into Me. Julian played the vocals for me and it sounded great, even if it wasn't finished yet. 

"Which one are we doing now?" Julian asked as he started setting everything up.

"Hideaway?" Harry suggested.

"Sure, let's do it." Louis spoke excitedly since it was one of the songs he had written.

"Nialler up for it?" Harry asked him.

"Yep."

"Payno?"

"Sure!"

"Zayno?"

"Let's do it."

"Already loaded the music, so whenever you're ready guys." Julian announced.

"Who wants to record their vocals first?" Liam inquired.

"I'll go first." My boyfriend spoke up before smiling at me.

"Yay! Go, go." I ushered him to the cabin. "I'll stay here watching you."

"Sounds great." He kissed my cheek before entering the cabin, while I stayed behind with the rest of the boys and watched as he recorded. He sounded amazing, and I couldn't wait for the song to be completed.

The rest of the afternoon flew by and I had a lot of fun watching everyone record their vocals and seeing how Julian mixed everything together, even if it was just a rough draft. They were able to record 3 songs in total during the day, which according to Julian, was fantastic. If they kept going at this rate, they were going to finish recording the vocals in about a week or two. And then they'll have another full month to put the finishing touches to the songs before the album is released the 23rd of May. I couldn't wait to listen to the whole album, from what I got to hear, it will be amazing!
