*Sofia's P.O.V.*

"Hey, the cab's already waiting outside. I just wanted to say goodbye before I left." I said as I got closer to Vic's bed. I had done my absolute best to get ready in silence, and damn it was hard, but it paid off, Vic hadn't woken up.

"Hey... yeah okay." Vic said in a sleepy state as she sat up in bed, rubbing her eyes as she adjusted to the light coming into the room from the hallway light.

"Thank you so much for everything, and I'll see you really soon when we come to Monterrey for the tour. If Niall takes me back that is." I said that last part in a quieter tone, since I wasn't yet sure if Niall would take me back.

"No problem, glad that I could slap some sense into you."

"Literally." I laughed, remembering the slap she had given me yesterday.

"Let me know when you get back to LA. And let me know how things go with Niall."

"Will, do. Thank you for everything."

"No problem. Bye, have a safe flight."

"Thank you. Bye." I said before leaving her room and heading outside, Vic didn't even bother to get up from bed, thank god she had a keypad access door or she could've gotten robbed.

My plane landed at exactly 10:30 and since it was a Tuesday morning, customs was a breeze. I didn't even bother looking for my car in the parking lot because Harry told me last night that he was going to come and pick it up bright and early today. Instead, I headed towards the taxi site and 5 minutes later, all of my bags and I were in the cab, ready to go home to Niall. We were ten minutes into the drive, when we got stuck in a traffic jam, great, this is fucking great. 5 minutes passed and we still weren't moving.

"God, why aren't they moving?" I blurted out.

"I see some police lights up ahead, not far from us. I guess there's a car crash, they're quite common here in the highway."

"I really need to get home."

"I'm sorry miss. Seems like we're going to be stuck here for a while." He pointed towards the ambulances that passed right by us."

"Ugh." I sank back into the seat, and then I felt my phone vibrating in my pocket. I took it out as fast as I could, hoping that it could be Niall, but it was Harry. He was probably calling to tell me that he'd picked up my car from the airport. I still hadn't told him that I had flown back to LA, I didn't want to tell him in case Niall was still mad and didn't want to get back together with me.

"Hi Harry." I cheerfully spoke into the phone."

"Soph." Harry replied, and as soon as I heard him speak, I felt a shiver down my spine, I knew something was wrong. He sounded as if he was going to burst out crying any second now.

"What happened?" I demanded, my voice quavering.

"It's...it's Niall." He choked.

"Is he okay? What happened?" Tears were streaming down my face at this point.

"He...he got into a...car accident."

"What? No, please tell me you're joking Harry, please tell me this is some sort of sick joke." Tears continued coming down fast, and the driver kept looking back at me, unsure of what to do with the woman crying her heart out in the back of his cab.

"I tried to warn him...but it was too late. I shouldn't have asked him to come with me...this is all my fault."

"Harry it's not your fault, is he okay? Where are you?"
