Still The One (Niall Horan)

Chapter 28

~3 weeks later~

*Sofia's P.O.V.*

We've been really busy, well not me per se, but the boys. I think they have a very busy schedule, but the boys say that this is nothing compared to their tour life before. They had show after show, with no rest in between, and in this tour, they play 2 days in a row, and then rest for another two. It awesome because that way we can go out and explore the cities in which they play. Today they're playing in New York and then we have 2 days to rest here in the city. We're staying at the Intercontinental Hotel this time, and this is where they filmed the music video for Perfect, so directioner me is dying on the inside. The guys left really early to do interviews and they aren't coming back until lunch, so me and the girls have time to kill.

"Guys, you know that this is where they filmed the Perfect music video right?" I asked them as we sat in the couch of one of the rooms. They had rented out the whole floor for the whole staff and us.

"Oh my god you're right!" Maya exclaimed. "You're thinking what I'm thinking?" She asked me.

"Yeah." I exclaimed back, hoping that we were thinking about the same thing.

"Fill us in, please." Ele asked us.

"We're recreating the music video!" We both screamed in unison before we burst out laughing.

"Oh my god, that would be iconic." Cami chimed in.

"Let's do it." Gigi sprung up from the couch. "But wait...Zayn wasn't in the video."

"Oh don't worry, we'll include you. To show them how the music video should've actually been." I smiled at her, I had forgotten about that tiny little detail. 

After that, we spent the whole morning shooting the recreation of the music video, and we were having an absolute blast. It was actually turning out better than I had expected, we had even changed into outfits that resembled the boys' to make it more accurate. It was so fun. We spent about 3 hours filming with our iphones, and then we spent the other two hours editing the video. It was a lot of work, but by the time the boys finally came back at 2pm to have lunch with us, we had finished the video and we couldn't be prouder. 

"Why are you all acting so suspicious?" Louis asked a few seconds after they came through the door. 

"What did you do?" Liam continued, and I saw Niall look at me suspiciously while I tried to contain my laughter.

"We made a video." Eleanor answered nonchalantly.

"Oh..oh... a video huh?" Louis spoke.

"Oh get your head out of the gutter not that kind of video!" Eleanor replied before she smacked his arm repeatedly while we all laughed. 

"Oh.." Harry said as if he were dissapointed that we didn't do that kind of video.

"Shut up before you start." Camila glared at him.

"I was kidding...geez." Harry raised his arms, and laughed, and seconds later Cami broke into a smile.

"Well, what kind of video then?" Niall asked, he was so impatient.

"A music video!" All of us girls exclaimed in unison.

"Oh my god." Both Niall and Liam exclaimed, they knew their girlfriends quite well, they knew we were directioners. "You couldn't help it could you?" Niall continued.

"You know me." I winked. "I can't let an opportunity like this slide."

"No you can't." He laughed. 

"Wait, what did you do? I don't understand." Zayn spoke up.

"We recreated the Perfect music video, to show you what it should've looked like, with the five of you." Gigi smiled at him.

"Oh you did? Let's watch it." Zayn smiled, getting really excited. 

We all sat in the couch as Maya hooked up her phone with the tv so that we could show them the video. 

"Wow." Liam voiced once the video ended.

"That was actually pretty good." A surprised Harry spoke.

"I look very handsome in that video." Louis told Eleanor, before kissing her temple.

"How did you manage to that in just one morning?" Niall questioned us.

"Well, we're women, we do everything better." I winked at them.

"Oh shut up." Niall laughed.

"Well we do." The rest of the girls answered. 

After a lot of we do's and no you don'ts by the boys Harry finally spoke. "Guys let's leave it there. We all know better than to question them, we know we'll never win." In a defeated voice.

"You're right. And I'm starving, so can we get something to eat?" Niall replied.

"Oh baby, when are you not?" I laughed.

"I swear I don't know how Niall is not obese." Louis exclaimed.

"Yeah me neither." Niall replied.

After we were done having lunch we all headed to the venue for soundcheck. It went by smoothly, just like they all had been so far, and this time the girls and I had decided to watch it from backstage. When soundcheck was over the boys came back, and we decided to watch a movie all together while we waited for the concert to start. I overheard Liam whispering with Maya during the movie and Maya showing him something on her phone and then Liam texting the boys in their 'group chat' without including us girls. I didn't give it a second thought, I thought that Liam was sending them some instructions that he'd been sent for the concert or something by management. And then at the very second in which we were supposed to find our seats for the concert and we had all finished saying our goodbyes and goodlucks, all of the boys spoke in unison

"We have a surprise for you, so keep your eyes out for it." Before bursting out laughing. We didn't even get a chance to question them because they all ran away to get mic'd up.

"Holy shit." I voiced.

"I don't trust them." Cami added.

"Me neither." Eleanor spoke with a worried look.

"I'm sure it's nothing big." Gigi tried to calm us down. 

Once we were seated on our seats, Maya suddenly exclaimed. "Fuck, fuck, fuck!"

"What is it?" We all asked her, because she had scared us.

"I know what they're gonna do."

"What?"

"The video...they're gonna play the video." She stuttered.

I mean, we did look pretty good in the video, but we didn't intend for the whole world to see it, it was just for them, and for us to have fun with it. If they played it, I was gonna be so pissed at Niall, and judging by the girls' faces, they were going to be equally pissed. Let's just hope for everyone's sake that that's not their surprise. Or their in for a surprise themselves.
