Still The One (Niall Horan)

Chapter 26

*Sofia's P.O.V.*

"Come on let's go." Cami pulled me as soon as I left Niall's dressing room.

"Finally!" Gigi exclaimed when we got to them.

"We didn't take that long." I answered. All of the girls just raised their eyebrows at me, letting me know I had indeed taken a very long time.

"Are there assigned seats or...?" Eleanor asked a security guard as we approached the door.

"Yeah. I'll take you to your seats." He offered before escorting us to our assigned seats. 

There were only a few fans there for soundcheck, only about 80 people so we got seats on the third row. I remember Niall had offered to save us seats in the first row, but I wanted fans to be able to score those seats, we got to see the boys everyday so we were okay with third row seats. And let me say they aren't bad seats at all, the view is pretty good from here. I was nestled between Cami and Eleanor, with Maya next to Cami and Gigi next to Eleanor. As soon as we sat down, the fans started pointing towards us, whispering to each other and smiling at us. 

"You're all amazing." The girl in front of us turned around to tell us.

"Aww thank you so much, you're so sweet."Eleanor responded immediately.

"Yeah, thank you so much." I added.

"Are you all touring with the boys?" The girl next to her asked us.

"We are." Cami told them.

"Let's see how that works out." Gigi added, making us all laugh. Everyone knew how crazy the boys were, and when they were together, they were unstoppable. 

"Yeah, good luck." The first girl told us, while we all continued laughing. "Can we take a picture with you?" She shyly added.

"Of course!" We all answered in unison before both of the girls joined us for a selfie.

"Thank you so much!" They couldn't stop smiling after taking the picture.

"No problem!" I smiled back at them. As soon as we were done, the big screen turned on with a countdown, sending the girls into a frenzy. 'And this is only soundcheck' I thought to myself as I smiled. The rest of the directioners were already piercing my eardrums and this wasn't even 1% of what's to come later tonight, I'll have to get my hands on some earplugs in order to survive the concert. When the countdown finally ended, the boys appeared on stage, and the screams became even louder.

"Good afternoon Nashville!" Harry exclaimed while the crowd erupted into cheers yet again.

"How are you?" Niall spoke. 

When the screams finally died down a little bit Liam added "We're so happy to be here with you today."

"This song, is one of my personal favorites, so please sing along with us if you know the words." Louis voiced before they started singing Little Black Dress, one of my favorites from the Midnight Memories album. 

They played four more songs, all from the previous albums, leaving the new ones and the ones from Made in the A.M. for the concert. When that was over they had a little question and answer session so that they could interact a bit more with the fans, and it was my absolute favorite part. When soundcheck was over, Mark (yes, the same Mark from the famous Where are we going today Mark videos) came to get me and the girls so that we could go backstage again. 

"Wow, it felt so surreal." Niall spoke when I finally got to him and embraced me.

"Tell me about it, I've been waiting for this tour since 2016."

"So have I petal." Niall replied before placing a kiss on my forehead, he was the sweetest.

"When do you have to leave for the meet and greet?" I asked him. After a lot of begging, because someone had to look out and speak for the fans, I had finally managed to convince the boys to do meet and greets again. They had told me that it was very tiring, because sometimes they would have to meet a 100 girls in one night and then perform, but I convinced them. I told them that the fans had been waiting for this for over 6 years, and after their 18 month hiatus bullshit, the fans deserved it, and they agreed. The meet and greet was limited to only 50 lucky fans, but I figured that that was better than nothing, so it would have to suffice.

"In about 5 minutes." He told me after checking the time. 

"So we have a little bit of time." I raised my eyebrows suggestively at him.

"For what?" He inquired, a smile plastered on his face. As soon as the words left his mouth, my lips hungrily made their way to his, I was going to make the most out of the 5 minutes we had together before he had to go to the meet and greet. A little make out session never hurt nobody.

"Time to go!" Mark hollered as he knocked on the door, he knew better than to open it without knocking. He'd caught Niall and I a few times making out during rehearsals, so now he always knocked and hollered instead of opening the door.

When the meet and greet was over, me and the girls made our way to the guys and took some pictures with them as well. I wanted to have lots of pictures to commemorate this moment, so that I could remember it forever, the day One Direction officially started touring again. After taking a lot of pictures we all headed to the common area to hang out and eat something. Even the band joined us, and they were all really cool, I had only spoken to them very little during rehearsals, but now we were finally going to be able to get to know each other better.

"10 minutes 'till you hit the stage guys. Girls, you should go and find your seats so you don't miss the start of the show." Paul announced.

"Yeah, thanks Paul." I answered him. "Well, I guess we better get going." I turned around to tell Niall.

"Yeah."

"You're going to do amazing babe. I'm going to be screaming my lungs out along with the rest of the directioners and screaming for you."

"You better." Niall laughed.

"Don't worry I will."

"Where are your seats?"

"Gigi said we got fifth row seats, over by the far left corner, so it would be the right corner for you."

"I'll look out for you in the crowd."

"I'll look for you on stage too." I joked. "Well, I better get going. Bye baby, I'll see you after the show. I love you."

"Thanks petal, I love you too." Niall replied before planting a quick kiss on my lips.

"Bye guys! Have an amazing show." I told the rest of the guys and the band.

"Yeah, have an amazing show." The other girls added.

"Thanks!" They all answered in unison before we headed to find our seats. We got there just in time, as soon as we found our seats, the opening video started playing on the screens, making every single person in the stadium scream. I couldn't help myself and I started screaming along with them. I can't believe that I'm finally seeing the boys in concert after so many years! I know that I'm dating Niall and I see all of the boys together quite often, and I even saw them rehearsing, but it's not the same. Nothing will ever beat the adrenaline you feel when you're in the concert.
