Naruto's POV

When I realized that we was gonna be up against Karin and Suigetsu, I made sure to tell her. "Hey Hinata," I said, "Our next opponents, Karin and Suigetsu, are real pains in the asses. Karin is a real slut. She's like the public bus. Everyone can ride on her, but nobody does. (A/N: Well, at least no one in my city.) I mean, she tries to hook up with everyone, well, except for me cuz I'm her cousin. Well, a distant one. Also, since she never gets what she wants, she's always a real bitch. And she recruited Suigetsu and another guy named Toneri to be her henchmen. And they're like the most annoying bullies in this school. So they might try to go at you" Hinata's eyes widened suddenly.

"T-toneri?! H-he's here too?!" She seemed scared.

"Yeah, but he's like a fifth-year senior, so he'll be outta here soon." I grinned at that.

"N-no, it's just ... oh never m-mind." She still had a worried expression on her face.

"Hey, are ya alright?" She seemed a bit off.

"Y-yeah, I'm o-ok N-naruto-kun, I was just t-thinking about s-something."

"Well, alright. I'm gonna have to go. But if ya ever need me, just call me."

"O-ok. S-see you, N-naruto-kun."

I wonder why Hinata got hella scared when I mentioned Toneri. But I don't wanna meddle in her business, so I made a mental note not to mention Toneri in front of her and left.

Hinata's POV

When Naruto-kun mentioned that Toneri was here, I got real scared. I remember when I first met him. He was gonna be the next heir of the Otsutsuki Financial Group, and he was around 2 years older than me, and I didn't understand why he constantly wanted to talk to me. So I tried to get away from him, but he always somehow followed me, that creep. I snapped back into reality as I got to my locker, and I got my stuff. As I left, I saw Ino in the hallway, and she waved and motioned for me to come over.

"Hey Hinata, how's it going?" She sounded cheerful.

"H-hey I-ino, it's b-been going w-well."

"Wanna walk home together?"

"S-sure." I didn't want to pay for the bus, and Neji has some after school stuff to do. Also school was pretty close, so I could walk. As we got out of school, The blonde started talking.

"So, how's your first week of school so far?"

"I-it's b-been fine. N-naruto-kun has been s-showing me around the s-school, and he's b-been really n-nice to me." I started to blush.

"So what else do you do outside of school?," she asked.

"W-well, usually I work at the local Starbucks, b-but the manager t-told me that I h-have the week off f-for my first w-week of s-school. A-also, w-we are l-looking f-for some n-new m-members."

She raised her eyebrows in curiosity, but then changed the subject. "So, what do you like to do?"

"W-well, I like to listen to One Direction, and sometimes I dance and I sometimes play video games too."

Ino started smiling. "Who's you're favorite 1D member? Mine is Harry Styles. Like he is so funny and cute!"

I smiled and shook my head. "Y-yeah, but Niall is so adorable, and he has such a cute Irish accent and beautiful blonde hair!" I was squealing like a fan girl and I somehow lost my stutter momentarily.

"So, you like blonde hair, huh? No wonder you're always blushing when you see Naruto. I bet you're crushing on him."

I started blushing furiously. Ino found out. " Y-yeah, I g-guess I d-do." My stuttering returned again.

"Since you don't know anything about him, I'll tell you some stuff about him." She started thinking. "Well, he's always been a jokester, he hasn't been amazing at school but can do well when he tries hard, and he loves basketball and ramen. A lot of girls like him at school, but I remember him saying that he doesn't wanna have a girlfriend. I could understand why."

I listened to Ino, and nodded my head in understanding. For such a cheerful guy, Naruto-kun seems to have been through a lot.

"W-wait, why d-doesn't he w-want a g-girlfriend?" I had to pop that question.

"Well, before you arrived, Naruto loved Sakura, the pink-haired, big forehead girl. He was really attracted to her, but she never reciprocated his feelings for her because she loved Sasuke. Naruto stopped trying to court Sakura about a year ago when he realized that he'd never win over Sakura, but they continued to remain friends. And he's been single ever since. But don't give up, because I see that everyone you're with him, he starts blushing, so he might like you."

I gasped. There's a chance that Naruto-kun likes me? I smiled at that thought.

"Naruto also always treats everyone with respect unless they disrespect something dear to him. And he's pretty passionate about things that he likes.  Also he's pretty handsome. I mean, I'd probably fall for him, but I like to keep all my options on the table. But sometimes, he can be a dense idiot so keep that in mind," she's told me.

"T-thanks for telling m-me, Ino." We reached my apartment. "W-well, I g-guess I'll s-see you later, Ino."

"Alright, Hinata. Well, I gotta get walking, otherwise my mom will be angry. See ya!"
