2 days later

Naruto's POV

*BEEP BEEP*

I woke up, reluctantly, at the sound of my alarm. As I showered and changed, I realised that today was Thursday, and that I'd be showing Hinata around for only today and tomorrow. It made me feel kinda sad.

As I took my shower, I thought about what Pervy Sage said two days ago about me having to work. I wasn't against the idea, it's just that I didn't know where to work. Maybe I'll ask someone at school for advice.

After I got changed and ready, I put my headphones in, played some music and walked to school. I met Duck Butt on the way and I presented my conundrum to him. He said that I should ask Ino because she knows the best places. We also talked about whether the 2015 NBA draft class will actually be good, then we got to school.

Ino's POV

After I got my stuff from my locker, I see a blonde idiot come up to me. "Hey Ino!" He seemed cheerful, as always.

"Hey Naruto! What's up?" I remembered talking with Hinata yesterday about Naruto.

"Well, Ino, I'm having this little problem. My guardian told me that after my since I'm turning 17, I gotta work now, y'know? Sasuke recommended me to come to you. You know a place where I should apply?"

As soon as he said, I raised an eyebrow. Inside my head, I was mischievously grinning. "Hm. Interesting," I initially told him. This was the perfect opportunity to play some matchmaker. "Well, I think you should work at Starbucks. I heard they're hiring."

"Hm. That's a good idea. Thanks, Ino," he told me, a smile on his face. He then left for class, brushing off some fan girls on the way. When he gets to work, it'll be quite the surprise, hehe.

A while later

Naruto's POV

The bell rang, signaling next period. It was time for gym class now, so I waited for Hinata and we went to the locker rooms. After I got changed in the boys locker room, I waited for Hinata and we went to the board to see where to go.

All students report to the gym. Once there, Guy-sensei will instruct you where to go.

Once Hinata and I got to the gym, we went to the bleachers as directed and took a seat. Guy-sensei then called for the matches to begin. Before our match with Suigetsu and Karin, I turned to Hinata. "Ready, Hinata?" I saw a small smile on her face, and I swear she never looked cuter. "Y-yeah." I felt myself blushing again and my heart skipping a beat again. I swear, I don't know why, but every time I'm with Hinata this happens. "Hey, they're gonna try to get into your head, so don't take anything they say to heart, y'know?," I warned her.

"A-alright, Naruto-kun."

Hinata's POV

As we heard our names being called, Naruto-kun got up and lent me a hand. I took it, and instantly felt a jolt of electricity right throughout my body. I started blushing again, and I could see a light shade of pink on Naruto-kun's face too. I reluctantly let go of his hand and proceeded to the court. As we got to the court, I could hear some whispers from the class, which had some of Naruto-kun's fan girls in there. I heard stuff like "Are those two a thing now?" and "No way I'll let an alien-eyes get my Naruto-kun." The last comment really hurt me, because that's what people called me when I was little. I was bullied a lot because of my rare pale-colored eyes and because my dad was either away or unsupportive of me. Naruto-kun then turned to me and said, "Hey Hinata, don't mind them. They're not any better than Suigetsu or Karin." Then he grinned at me, which made me feel a lot better.

As we got to our positions, I was greeted not-so-warmly by Karin. "Hey there, alien-eyes! Ready to get your ass kicked?" I ignored her, but Naruto quickly spoke up. "Yeah right. Like someone as amazing as Hinata would lose to you!" I blushed a bit at that. Suigetsu then said, "You shouldn't be attacking women, Naruto! Maybe your parents should've taught you some manners- oh wait, you don't have any, orphan!"

Naruto-kun's face went completely pale, his ocean blue eyes went dull, and I was in shock. Naruto-kun is an orphan? I took a look at Naruto-kun again. His face started going red out of anger, and he looked ready to tear Suigetsu apart. Since the bleachers were pretty far from the court, nobody actually heard Suigetsu. I was afraid for what would happen to Suigetsu, so I grabbed Naruto-kun's hand and said, "Naruto-kun, d-don't t-take what he s-says to h-heart. J-just beat h-his ass in d-dodgeball." Naruto-kun's face completely softened when that happened and the color of his eyes went back to a more vivid and beautiful blue. "T-thank you, Hinata-chan," he told me. I started blushing again when I realized that he called me "chan". Then, with a determined on his face, he faced Suigetsu, who raised an eyebrow. "Ready to get your asses kicked?," He asked the two opponents.

Guy-sensei then finally came. After once again explaining the rules as he does before every match, he blew his rather weird whistle and the game started. Naruto-kun and Suigetsu both went for balls. Suigetsu threw a ball, but Naruto-kun blocked it with his ball. He then tossed the ball to me. I set myself and aimed at Karin. It wasn't as fast as I wanted, so Karin dodged it. Karin then retrieved the ball, then passed to Suigetsu. He threw it hard at Naruto-kun, but somehow he caught it, sending Suigetsu out.

Naruto then gave me the ball, and retrieved another ball on our side. Then we both aimed and fired at Karin, who was scared to death. Naruto-kun missed, which was seemingly intentional, but my ball hit Karin in the leg and then it dropped to the ground. "Owwww!!!," she was squealing in pain. It was kinda funny to watch.

"Your winners once again, the youthful duo of Naruto Uzumaki and Hinata Hyuga!"
