A/N: So I'm still getting hacked. If you see any mistakes, please let me know so I can change them. On another note... I wrote 2800 words!!! Hope you like it!!

Sophie and Keefe landed hard on the petal-filled floor of her bedroom. Very, very hard. She'd definitely be bruised up the next morning. As for Keefe, well... Sophie kind of broke his fall.

Keefe groaned in pain and moved off of Sophie's back, "You okay?"

"Perfect." Sophie said sarcastically, "I have really got to work on those landings."

"Yes, that be a good idea considering how many bruises I see my daughter with every time she comes home." Sophie heard a deep voice say from behind her.

She reluctantly flipped her body over to see her parents with the most frightening glare she'd ever seen. But that wasn't even the most frightening part, because behind them was someone even scarier, with the most fatal glare anyone had ever seen.

"Don't act too surprised, Miss Foster." Mr. Forkle told her, "You of all people know that the Black Swan has eyes everywhere."

"Guess I didn't get the memo that all your personal stalkers you hired, took night shifts." Sophie retorted. She heard Keefe snicker from behind her and smiled remembering that he was there.

"Apparently for good reason, too. Seriously, Sophie, you can't just go out and break the law for fun, even though you're in the nobility."

"Hellooooo? Didn't you guys forget about me?" Keefe told the adults.

Edaline stalked forward, "Don't worry, Grady will be talking to you later."

Keefe's smiled dropped and he looked worried at Sophie.

Sophie transmitted to him, "At least it's not both him and Sandor. Trust me. It. Was. Bad. They're like... the Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum of dating lectures."

"Is that supposed to be a human reference?"  Keefe asked.

"Yeah, but that's not the point. If my dad is giving you one of his customary lectures, that means he's at least used to you."

"There will be no secret conversations here, especially between the two of you." Grady told them, "Now, do you care to explain why the two of you snuck amoebas into your bodyguards' flasks and left the house in the middle of the night?"

"Technically I was the one who slipped in the amoebas. Sophie had her hands full stealing your obscurer."

"Keefe!" Sophie said smacking his arm.

"Sorry. She was 'borrowing' it." Keefe corrected.

Sophie rolled her eyes at Keefe, for what had to be the millionth time that day. She noticed Grady holding out his hand, signaling for her to return the black orb. Sophie walked over towards her dad, pulled out the obscurer, and placed it in his hand.

"Sorry." Sophie said in a low voice.

"I actually believe your actions to use your father's obscurer is one of the smarter choices you've made today." said Forkle, "The smartest being that you did leave the house. Shortly after the two of you left, the Neverseen came to deliver a message." he said unfolding a small piece of paper.

Keefe walked up to him and grabbed the note, "Meet me at the place where everything started. Past the dinosaurs and Botanical Garden. In three days time when stars rise, I hope to see you there for a big surprise. What does that mean?"

"You can read that?" Mr. Forkle asked him.

"Erm, yeah it's in..." Keefe scanned the paper, "Wait. What language is this?" he asked Sophie.
