I just wanna share the apps I use for writing and editing book covers. It's not that much but I hope I can help.

Note: Some apps said under may be useful for me, but not for you. This whole thing is opinionated.

1. Merriam-Webster Dictionary
— I use this to search words especially in English. It is easy to use, and add the fact that it can be used offline.

2. Pinterest
— I use this to search for some inspo about writing and editing book covers.

3. Phonto – Text On Photos
— I use this for adding fonts on photos. It helps me a lot to improve my book cover styles, and you can download fonts you like.

4. Autodesk SketchBook
— I use this for making my own book cover backgrounds by painting, animating and such.

5. Wattpad
— I use this as a writing and reading platform.

6. Keep Notes
— I use this for jotting down some ideas, plots, and things needed for my story.

7. JotterPad
— I use this for writing the parts of my stories. It is simple to use and not that confusing so I recommend it. It also automatically saves your works. You can also see the statistics of your work. Statistics includes your word count, paragraph count, character count and reading time.

8. English-Filipino Dictionary
— I use this whenever I can't think of the English/Tagalog of a certain word.

9. Background Eraser
— Of course, I use this for erasing unwanted backgrounds of a certain image I'll use for my book cover.

— I use this for filters and photo-adusting stuff for my book covers.

11. WordWeb
— It's like Merriam-Webster Dictionary, and both of them works offline. However, it has more examples than definition while Merriam-Webster Dictionary is more on definition.

12. PicsArt
— I use this for designing, cropping and adding effects for my book covers.
