I opened my eyes as I felt the heat of the sun touching my skin. This country's heat really feels like hell, or even hotter than hell. It's a warm summer.

I put my foot under the blanket to lose the heat. It has an electric fan but it also seems to be hot in the air. Everything here is hot! Including me, of course.

Pierce was nowhere to be found. Maybe he was at the kitchen or somewhere.

I was in the middle of my thoughts, staring at the wall, when suddenly, something in my stomach was circling. It felt really uncomfortable to the point that I had to breathe deeply to relax myself, trying to get rid of it.

But it didn't. It climbed up to my chest, towards my throat and when I was feeling it on the base of my mouth, I stepped out of bed and ran my way to the bathroom.

My eyes shutted down as I threw up in the sink. I threw up but nothing really came out, but it seemed like my throat would ache.

Like it feels like you were vomiting everything but in reality, nothing comes out other than that colorless stream of saliva.

"Alecia?" I heard Pierce's voice of concern roared in the room. Moments later, the bathroom door opened and he saw me, vomiting my life out of my mouth.

"Hey, what happened?" I felt his hands gather my hair and pulled it higher. My jaw dropped again as I felt the urge to throw myself again, but again, my saliva was just coming out.

Nang matapos ako sa pagsusuka and all, pumunta kaming kusina at umupo naman ako sa hapagkainan. I was blank the whole time, staring at nothing. Nagising lang ako sa katotohanan nang maamoy ko ang masarap na pagkain. It was the Chowking meal I ordered last night na ininit ni Pierce. 

Without further ado, I devoured the fried rice and the fried dumplings. The food tasted even better when I dipped it in chili sauce. Hmm, shet, that's good! Pierce left for a moment and returned, carrying a cellphone. My cellphone. 

Alam niya naman ang password ko at wala naman ako tinatago so pinabayaan ko lang ito and continued pigging myself.t my phone.

"Isn't it last week your period?" He asked, still looking on my phone.

"Yeah." I replied as I took a bite of my third dumpling.

"Eh ba't walang nakalagay?" I always track my menstrual period and ovulation on my cellphone using this app named Flo.  It's really helpful for women for finding out their most fertile days since this is the time of the month where you'll most likely to get pregnant.

"Oh, my Gosh."

Pregnant. Pregnant. Pregnant.

Fertile. Fertile. Fertile.

We stared at each other for a long time as if we were speaking in our minds. Yeah, I know what he was thinking. 

"I didn't have my period last week," I blurted out really fast. Then my mouth shaped an O.

"You. are. pregnant." He didn't question it. He declared it.
