Chapter Three

Dear diary,

Dan headed over to Boston for a vacation, and in 5 weeks I was going to move to Texas. I didn't know how to tell Dan that, because I knew he thought long distance relationships were stupid. In Boston he bought me a necklace and god knows what happened to that now. One night at around midnight I was going to tell him about the moving thing, but he said he was too sleepy. I tried to tell him that it was serious, and he said something really stupid that hurt me. I couldn't tell him the next day because I had to get my phone repaired.

I tried to talk to him but we ended up arguing and I told him that he should have listened to me and never ask me out. Then he asked if we should break up, and I let my ego get the best of me as usual and I said yeah. At that moment I didn't know what I was doing, and it was one in the morning and I was just being stupid. I didn't think he actually meant it ya know, but he did. He once promised me to never let me go no matter what, and now the guy I liked gave up on me.
