Graduation

It’s been exactly two months since I last saw the girls. I am with my parents and brother right now dahil on the way na kami sa school ko for my graduation.

This is it! I’ve been waiting for this day to come.

Tomorrow will be another day for me.

Another opportunity

Another chance to make my life more worth living

I’m really excited when it comes to my life after I graduate pero this time I have lots of questions and worries

Would I be successful?

What if I failed?

What if something happened unexpectedly?

Before, I wanted to finish my acads so there will be no pressure anymore. But now I am thinking, what would happen if some things wouldn’t go well as what I planned?

I’m the eldest, my family is looking forward for me to find a work or be successful with my own effort, sweat and tears

Would I find the place where I will belong?

I guess I’ll just have to trust the process and work hard

“Dela Fuente, Klerah Alessia A.” I smiled widely when I heard my name being called. I walked to the stage and get my diploma. When I face in front and do the sign that I am now finally a graduate I saw my family looking at me proudly.

Greetings are from left and right. I saw my friends and classmates after the ceremony; we took pictures and bid our goodbyes, good lucks and congratulations to each other. After so many years of studying all of our hard works are now paid off.

“Congratulations!” I stilled for a second and look at the people inside our home. I didn’t expect this! I thought we’ll be having a normal dinner but woah my cousins, aunts and uncles are here and even our close neighbors and some of my ninongs and ninangs.

“Wow! Thank you fans!” I told them while waving my right hand

Some of them grunted with what I said, some are smiling at me while my cousins make faces. Mga walanghiya!

“Wala na uwian na. mag take out na lang kami” said by Kuya Drew my cousin. Kamag anak talaga ‘to ni Jollibee. Bida bida

“Kapal mo naman Drew”

“Hoy grumaduate ka lang nawala na yung ‘kuya’? grabe Klerah may regalo pa naman ako sa’yo” my eyes suddenly widened. Si kuya? May regalo?

HIMALA!

“Kuya kuya kuya kuya kuya kuya Drew, where’s my gift?” I said while blocking his way and tinignan niya lang ako. Tampo na yan? Ang chaka!

“Ibigay mo na Drew”

“Tama si tita kuya, ibigay mo na. Okay lang naman na hindi, ako na lang kukuha dito” sabay kuha ko sa bag ni ate Wella na pinsan din namin. Tumakbo ako para mahalughog yung bag ni ate pero dahil maliit nga ako, nahabol ako ni kuya at nakuha ang bag sa’kin.

Sumimangot naman ako kay kuya tinignan niya muna ako sandali

“Please ka muna” Hakdog kuya. Please ka mag isa mo
Nag make face ako sakanya at dumiretso na sa dining area para kumain.

“May papasukan ka na Klerah?” I looked at my ninang at tumango habang nginunguya ang barbeque
