"Nope, nothing," Yoongi says grimly.

"Damn it."

It's been a few days since they've been trying to research on the unknown clan's symbol. More and more of their men were being injured or killed almost every time they stepped out of the house. It was only a matter of time until his men inside the building would be attacked too. On top of that, they were also stealing the clan's riches from right under their noses.

"How can we conduct our business if they keep doing this?! Fucking hell!" Jungkook rubs his face.

"Not only that, but they also seem to be targetting only us as well. The other clans haven't reported anything about an unknown clan-"

"I don't care about the other stupid clans!" Jungkook groans and plops on the chair. "For all we know, it's probably one of them. They're probably jealous of us."

"I don't know about that Jungkook-ah, they seem to preach about loyalty."

Jungkook huffs. "If Seojun hyung didn't get all buddy-buddy with the other clans, I would have declared war already. It's weird that the rest of our clan doesn't give a shit about allies or friends while our leader does. It just doesn't click."

"You can't really blame him, he used to be best friends with Hyunsik before his disappearance."

"Who?" Jungkook questions.

"Park Hyunsik, the heir to the Park clan that went missing."

"Oh wow. Friends really do ruin everything."

Yoongi just rolls his eyes at that. "Don't you have to go to the poker game hosted by the Parks next week?"

"Shit! I completely forgot."

"You'll have to see Jimin again."

Jungkook knew he couldn't bail on Seojun. A promise is a promise after all, and plus Seojun can be really scary if he wants to. He shouldn't have promised anything but at the time he thought Jimin was a part of the Kim clan. What a stupid mistake.  The worst thing is, even after what had happened, he could not stop thinking about Jimin. The man consumed his days and nights and Jungkook couldn't process why. He knew he should stop but the words Jimin told him impacted him in a way that he never felt before.

"I'll bring a gun with me so if he tries something I'll blow his head off."

They sat in Jungkook's office researching anything they could find of the symbol in the dark web but nothing came up. They did this almost every day, seemed like a waste of time really. He wasn't going to let this slide. Someone decided to wage war with one of the most feared mafia gangs, it was definitely intentional and he wasn't going to let them get away with it.

Unlike Seojun who hosted their poker games at the casino, the other clans hosted it in their respective territories. The Park's mansion was incredible, just like theirs. But Jungkook felt a shiver go through him as they entered the gate. Not only because of Jimin's presence but also because the place seemed a bit, moody.

Luckily Jimin wasn't anywhere to be found once they entered. He kept a sharp lookout so that if he finds the man, he could give him a piece of his mind. They walk to the top floor to a large living room. It was mostly decorated with a lot of gold and deep red to make it look royal.

"I'll have to head in Jungkook, wait here for me, maybe make some friends." Jungkook gives a half-hearted smile to Seojun that quickly turns sour as Seojun walks away.

He looks around to see if he could find anyone he recognised. He knew, by his own experience that Jimin must be in the poker room with the clan leaders, getting introduced. The man could come out anytime, thus he should be diligent.
