~Come with us, you'll be okay. We saved you~ the man in the black coat reaches a hand out to him.

~But my father.~

~He wasn't a good man. This happens, whoever goes against you is not worthy. You are better than him and everyone else. We saved you from him.~

~My family.~

~Your family will be fine. We promise that if you come with us, they will live a happy life.~

~Okay...~ he grabs the man's hand and starts walking to the van, ignoring his father's dead body covered in blood on the ground.

~You will be the best of the best. You don't need anybody else, remember that.~

~I am... the best.~

~Yes.~ he misses the man's smirk as he climbs inside the van and his life changes forever.

Jungkook wakes up alone to a cold and empty bed. He feels the warmth reminiscent on his skin fade away as he sits up and looks around. He was in Jimin's room, he remembers that much. He didn't want to think about what this could mean or if things would change. Nobody needs to know what happens behind closed doors, it could ruin them.

He gets up from the bed and goes to his room trying not to be spotted. It was fairly easy. After changing into a new pair of clothes and eating he decides to go down to the dungeon area to inspect, not because he couldn't find Jimin anywhere else. Not that he was looking for Jimin anyway.

"Oh, it's you." Jimin grimaces.

"I am hurt by that tone." Jungkook teases as he walks down the stairs to the man sitting on the table. "Is this your office or something?"

"No, this is a clan meeting room." Jimin looks through the papers on the table ignoring Jungkook as much as he can.

Jungkook takes a walk around the room. "Yeah I wanted to ask you about that. Why do you keep a jail cell in here?"

"We didn't plan to keep prisoners but since you ticked me off with your ego that time I made a last minute plan to make a jail cell for you." Jimin sighs.

Jungkook glares at the man from the other end of the table. "Sad for you, I barely even used it."

Jimin scoffs and gets up to stack and arrange the papers.

"Don't the Parks ever notice you're missing?" Jungkook questions and sits up on the table.

"They couldn't care less. My father's just an asshole and even more so since my mother passed away."

A sudden form of empathy washes over Jungkook. "I'm... sorry..." he hears himself say.

"Yeah there's a lot you should be sorry about." Jimin quips.

"Why do I have to be sorry about that?"

"You and your clan, or ex clan-" that hurt. "are the same people. You've been fed the same shit to make you like this." Jimin puts the papers away.

"Like what?"

"I've done my research on your stupid clan. You've been trained not be dependent on anybody else, work alone, betray, trust no one." Jimin walks closer to Jungkook. "Yet you trusted Seojun. The one who taught that to you, one of the biggest deceivers and cowards out there."

He feels his chest getting tighter. Memories of mental torture, things he's tried to avoid thinking about, come back to him. He needs to forget, it shouldn't affect him like this. He's grown, he's moved past it, he doesn't need this. He cannot think about this right now!
