Jimin walks into his study room the first thing he sees is Jungkook who immediately gets up from his seat. He had done a lot of strenuous work for the past few days. Running an unknown clan as well as the park clan, and his other job which took a lot physically and also mentally.

Numerous thoughts run through his head as he closes the door and makes his way to his chair about how to ease Jungkook. What we did was a mistake. It shouldn't have happened. The things I said... we were just caught up in the moment. He hoped that Jungkook felt the same way, even though deep inside he knew that it would hurt if Jungkook did.

"Listen Jungkook-" he starts off but freezes at the sight of the pictures sitting on his table.

Jungkook bites his lip anxiously as the wide eyed man slowly touches the pictures with shaking hands. He had got them printed at the whim of the moment, thinking Jimin would like them and appreciate them. Hoping, more like.

The older spreads the photos out on the desk. Jungkook thinks maybe he should have asked him to take a seat first, this may be too much. The pictures were of him and his older brother, everything he could find in the mobile phone. They looked so sweet and Jimin's five thousand watt smile made his heart all fluttery so it didn't feel right keeping them all to himself (not that he was planning to *nervous laughter*)

"I got them from this phone, I think it was your brother's?" Jungkook informs after a few moments of silence and places the device onto the wooden surface. "I-I thought you would want them so..."

"I don't remember the last time I smiled so genuinely..." Jimin reminisces.

"At the bar!" the words tumble out of his mouth before he could even process it. Jimin's eyes shoot up to meet his and Jungkook could see how glassy they looked as if he was about to cry. "Um the first time I saw you because of your laugh... and your smile... couldn't get it out of my head, still can't..."

Jimin hums mindlessly. "I said genuinely."

They stay silent for what seems like forever until Jungkook opens his mouth again to address the elephant in the room. "Do you still miss him?"

Jimin looks away, not wanting to make eye contact. "No... a little... I-I made my peace with it around the time I started to feel nothing at all..."

"Is this why you hate Seojun?"

"Yes, more than anything."

"I want to understand." the younger rounds the desk until he was trapped in between Jimin and the table so that he could look him in the eye. "Forgive me, I couldn't help it but I went through the phone..."

"After our texts... I got worried so I went there to the bridge. I hid in the trees just in time to see my brother get pushed off the bridge by that man. His-his scream still haunts me." Jimin sighs and puts his hands on either side of Jungkook, caging him in. "After he left I became a new man. Devoted my whole life to getting rid of Seojun once and for all. Lying, stealing, killing; you name it, I did it. But that's not an unknown life for people of our kind, is it?"

"Do you know why he did it?"

"He got close to my clan so that he could use us. Built his own unnamed clan and decided to steal from us and run away with the money. But, my brother caught him..."

"So that was his jacket? You used his own idea against him?"

Jimin sighs. "My brother loved him like family... and h-he took my mother too, I can't just let it slide..."

Jungkook watches as a stray tear rolls down the emotionless man's face. He wraps his hands around the man's shoulders to pull his close. Jimin leans on him completely, clasping his hands around Jungkook's waist and burying his face into his shoulder.

"He covered it all up and sucked up to all the clans more so no one would suspect him... Nobody knew what happened to my brother and at the time I was too traumatized to say anything. S-Seojun taught his trainees to be just like him so that they would continue where he left off. That's why I need to destroy that whole clan and avenge my brother."

"Does anybody else know about this?"

"O-only Tae... I trust him with a lot..."

Jungkook won't admit it but it stung to know that he wasn't special and he wasn't the only one Jimin had opened up to. But then again why would he be?

The younger feels a wetness there after a while and it wouldn't take a genius to know that Jimin was crying. Jungkook hugs him tighter and caresses him hair to ease him. Jimin melted right into it.

"Thank you..." Jimin mumbles against his neck after some time.

Jungkook frowns. "For what?"

"For this. And I'm sorry for the way I acted. I should've talked to you... about what happened... but instead I took the cowards way out and avoided you..."

"...We can go back to hating each other if it makes things easier-"

"No." Jimin cuts him off. "I can't go back to the way things were before, being with you changed everything..."

Jungkook feels Jimin press a soft kiss onto the side of his neck.

Jimin pulls away to look at Jungkook. "I do... like you Jungkook and I want to be with you... do you?"

The younger takes a deep breath to process the question. "Are you sure you want this? There's no going back."

"This could be the worst decision we ever make, I don't know. But we have to see if we can work."

"I want it to work... I like you, a lot."

"Yeah?" Jimin smiles.

"Yeah." he smiles back.

They meet in the middle for most probably the best kiss they've ever had. Jimin's lips were as soft as ever meeting his. Jungkook holds Jimin's nape as their lips move together. It was never this easy to kiss someone, he thinks.

There's no pent up frustration, no hate, no confusion, just two people kissing because they want to and nothing else. Jungkook feels content, he feels good. Jimin makes him feel good and he can accept that now.

He liked Jimin. They liked each other. They had to move on, the past is the past and what they had now was everything. Even though there were still things eating at Jungkook's mind he couldn't seem to care because he had Jimin now. He just had to forget and everything would be fine.

Everything will be fine. Just don't think about it.
