FlashbackThe people in the white lab coats walked around you, acting like you weren't there. Walking around you, trying to ignore you. But your would catch their glimpses once in awhile. Some had fear in their eyes. Some liked at you hatefully. Some had pity. The mag who had just entered the room none of these.
He was curious. And amused.
The man dawdled around and picked up a syringe. You glared at it, feeling that you had enough needles poking out of you already. You struggled against the restraints pinning you down on the metal table as he came closer. He chuckled at your attempt.
"Oh sweetheart." Shaw whispered. "Still so stubborn. Still such fight left in you!" He grinned. "Never a boring moment with you "
You screamed in frustration as best as you could with the muzzle on, thrashing around more as he came nearer. Shaw came up right next to you and hit you across the face in one swing. You felt the recently healed cuts in your mouth open, tasting the metallic sweet taste of blood.
He watched you, no emotion in his face.
"You know I don't like it when you scream. Though I would like it if you did it more, gives me an excuse to hit you."Anger boiled up in you. Glaring at him you spat in his face, blood splatters mixed with spit on his face. The handful of scientists in the room fell silent. He raised his hand wiping some off on the tips of his fingers. Shaw grinned dangerously at you as he snapped his fingers. A jittery looking man in a white labcoat brought a wet cloth to him. He wiped his face, never taking his eyes off you or getting rid of the grin.
"You know, I'm disappointed in you," his voice was chillingly silk smooth and laced with - pity? "After so many years you never do learn do you? Never. Ever. Get me angry."
The 'doctors' began to leave the room. You gulped, almost sensing the heat radiating off of him. Shaw leaned his face down so it was directly above yours, his breath in your face. You heard the door shut as the last doctor left the room, not wanting to see Shaw's wrath.
"And right now, I'm furious." His voice dripped with venom, dangerously low and calm. The syringe started to glow hot in his hand. Your eyes widened involuntary in horror.
"No," you whisper. "No no."
His eyes bore into yours as he placed it just beneath your collarbone. You whimpered in pain at first but as it increased you begun to scream. All the while Shaw stared at you.
And everything went black.

Charles looked at the girl. She was lying on a metal table in a green hospital gown. The doctors had cleaned her up well. Her hair was splayed out on the pillow in a mass. Apparently they had taken her to a hair salon since it looked so perfect. He looked at her face. It was thin but very healthy for someone on the run. The doctors had actually claimed her to be quite fit. A bit malnourished but still athletic.
"How is she?" Charles turned around to see Erik, who had noiselessly entered the room.
"Hank took a look at her. Says she'll be up any minute now." Charles replied.
Erik looked at her. The scratches and scars. The blood and IV drip next to her, feeding her what she needed.
Hank interrupted his thoughts coming into the room.
"Hey." he said. Charles and Erik returned the greeting. "I was thinking of doing a check on her, see what mutations she has."
"Isn't she just a teleport?" Erik asked confused.
"Yes. But as we've seen she seems to not just teleport but also she can block out Charles." Hank looked at the two men before turning back to the computer screen. "You guys picked up something really amazing."
Charles chipped in. "Not only that, she's older than she looks. She looks around your age, maybe a bit older but I don't think that's the case."
Suddenly the computer started beeping. Hank looked at the screen shocked.
"Hank, what is it?" Charles asked.
"It won't register her. There's too many. "
Seeing their confused faces he explained.
"The average mutant has one main ability. Two is quite rare and three is very unique. I set my program to four but it's now shut down because it overpowered." he said in disbelief. "She has more than four main mutations."
Erik and Charles stared at the young mutant then looked at each other. Charles shrugged and Erik sighed.
The silence was split by screaming. Their heads snapped to the girl. She writhed on the table screaming at the top of her lungs. But she couldn't move. It was as if she was nailed to the table.
Erik rushed to her side. Seeing her shut eyes he stated "She's dreaming."
Charles put his hands out to shake her awake but quickly withdrew them when he received an electric shock. He tried again only to get another one.
He did the only thing he could think of. Putting two fingers to his temple he commanded her. Wake.
Her eyelids flew open. Suddenly as if out of nowhere she held a dark, dagger-like blade in her hand. She took in their faces as they stepped back from her as she bolted up, doing so she ripped out the needles of the IV.
Her jaw tightened as she felt the cold metal against her legs reminding her of the flashback she had just had. The dull pain pulsing in her arm where the needles had been, blood trickling out wasn't helping either.
Her eyes landed on the familiar blue ones in front of her.
"Now," she said "where the fuck am I and who the fuck are you?"
