"For you." The overwhelming scent of roses surrounded her and caused the woman to look up from her laptop. Karlie looked into the face of her girlfriend who held out her arm in order to hand the bouquet over to the green-eyed beauty, furrowed her brows at the unfamiliar sight and took off her glasses.

"What did you do?" She asked slowly because all she could think was how suspicious this gesture was.

"What? I bought these flowers for you. That's what I did." Karlie could tell that Taylor was playing dumb which made the whole scenario even more bizarre. It wasn't that she didn't think Taylor would want to do something nice for her like getting her flowers, it was just that this wasn't the usual way of showing affection from the singer. Taylor was all for the simple and little things. Taylor enjoyed walking together along the beach with her girlfriend, just holding hands. She loved finding clever, cute ideas off the internet, listening to music or putting on a record while being close to each-other. When she wanted Karlie to know how much she loved her, she would just tell her because Taylor preferred saying less but instead meaningful things. They have come to a silent understanding and Karlie loved every bit of it because it was purely Taylor. Taylor wouldn't just buy flowers without any intention behind it. While Taylor was romantic, this just wasn't her style.

"I can see that, babe." Karlie said gently and walked around her desk to take a better look at the bouquet. "But why?"

"How do you like them?" Taylor asked instead of answering Karlie's question. Karlie leaned over and kissed her cheek with a genuine smile.

"I love them." Taylor stepped back and shook her head.

"No, look at them. Do you like roses? They're white. You like white, right? What would you prefer instead of these?" The singer turned them around in different angles so Karlie would be able to take a good look who tried her best not to laugh at the weird interaction.

"I like roses. I like white." The younger girl confirmed trying to figure out what was going on.

"Ugh, Karlie!" Taylor handed them over to her girlfriend sighing deeply. "You're no help." Karlie watched the singer leave the room and started laughing.

"Help with what, babe? I do not understand what's going on." When no answer was given, Karlie just returned to her seat, inhaling the smell of the flowers with a smile on her face. She didn't quite understand what the point of this conversation had been but she did enjoy the simple interaction.

"Karlie?" Someone tapped the model's shoulder repeatedly. "Honey, wake up." When Karlie only hummed in response the tapping sped up and Taylor's unique perfume filled her nose. She grabbed the hand from her shoulder and pulled her girlfriend down onto the bed so that Taylor was pressed against her back. Taylor placed a single kiss against her shoulder blade resulting in a smile on Karlie's face but then the tapping returned which was rather unpleasing.

"Tay, stop." Her voice was raspy as she had just woken up. "I'm awake. What's going on babe?" She slowly opened her eyes just to be faced with another bouquet of flowers. Violet tulips this time 'round. Karlie turned around in Taylor's arms and rested her chin on her loved one's neck in order to take a look at the clock behind her. "Taylor, it's one am. What in the world is wrong with you?"

"I got you some flowers. Do you like these better than the roses?" Karlie turned on the lamp on the night stand and looked at the way the light enhanced the features of her girlfriend's beautiful face. She refused to look at the flowers as of right now and instead stared up at Taylor sternly.

"Are you cheating on me?"

"What? No! I would never!" Taylor exclaimed in shock and sat up.

"Have you accidently killed my dog?"
