Hi sorry this one is really short! I've been really, really busy at work today!

It was ridiculous how heavy this snowstorm seemed. And while Karlie was safe and sound at home, her girlfriend had been out for tour rehearsals. Karlie knew that it had ended a while ago and so she should have been on her way home. Taylor actually should have been home by this time no matter how big the storm, but she wasn't. Instead she was out there, somewhere in the blizzard. The thought made Karlie worried as she paced about in their apartment, periodically checking out the window for any sign of Taylor only to be reminded of the vicious snowstorm with which the city and her girl were currently engulfed in.

Karlie would have felt better if she could only get in contact with Taylor but her phone couldn't get any reception. There was nothing she could do. She felt so helpless. If only she had gone with her then she'd at least know if she were okay. Karlie usually wasn't the anxious one in the relationship but she felt like she was making up some ground on Taylor for the title as the clock continued to tick on.

"Karlie?" Oh, apparently she was right outside. "Karlie, can you please open the door? My hands are shaking too much to get the key in." A mix of worry and joy filled Karlie as she darted for the door. She swung the door open to find her girlfriend shivering and covered in snow.

"Oh my God." Karlie reached out for Taylor's hand. "You're freezing." She led her inside and immediately began removing her damp clothing. "There's snow everywhere."

"Yeah. It's really bad out there." Taylor's voice shook. Karlie nodded at her words as she did her best to warm her up. "It was just so windy and there was so much snow. The blizzard came on so fast too. It got into my coat and now I'm soaking wet."

Karlie froze for a moment as those words registered in her head. "Not like that you doofus." Taylor would have given Karlie a playful hit on the head but she was far too cold to do anything of the sort. Karlie resumed her actions and then left so she could prepare a nice warm bath.

She came back short and carefully rubbed her girlfriend's arms to provide her with some warmth while the water heated up. Slowly, her body warmed up but she was still very cold. When her bath was finally ready, Karlie helped Taylor in the bathroom and stripped her of the rest of her clothes before making sure she didn't slip as she made her way under the warm water.

Taylor let out a contented sigh as she submerged herself fully. "Thank you." She was ready to stay like that for the rest of the day, but as she could see before her Karlie had different ideas. Her mouth became dry as she watched Karlie strip down, and for a moment she was left speechless. "What are you doing?" Karlie couldn't help but laugh at how Taylor's voice squeaked. She sounded so timid and shy that it was almost as though they had never seen each other naked before.

"I'm getting warmed up," Karlie simply answered as she stepped into the tub. "You're not the only one who's cold," she teased, faking a highly exaggerated shiver. She dipped inside and slid in beside her girlfriend. "See, I'm better already." The warmth and her girlfriend, that was all Karlie needed. Though Taylor's body still needed much more warming up to do. She sighed contently and took Taylor into her arms before whispering softly. "I was so worried that something had happened to you in the storm," she admitted.

"You did? I have security you know."

"Of course I did," Karlie answered, nuzzling into Taylor. "Stupid snow," she grumbled.

"I thought you liked the snow," Taylor teased.

Karlie huffed. "Not when it puts my girlfriend in danger."

"Oh, that's too bad," Taylor mused aloud. "Don't worry," she told her. "I'm okay and for now, I just need you to help warm me up." Taylor turned her head and gave Karlie a kiss on her cheek.

They soaked in the tub for a while before long the two of them were cuddling in bed, tightly tucked beneath the covers. They were all bundled up, their bodies wrapped tightly with Karlie slightly draping herself over Taylor. Claiming that she was warming the singer up. She snuggled into her, holding onto her tightly so as to be certain that during the night no harm would fall upon her.
