Taylor always loves visiting Karlie's hometown with her. It brings out a different side to her girlfriend and she feels so much joy when she sees the light in Karlie's eyes as they drive or walk around the city. She loves seeing Karlie stuff her face with Imo's Pizza and toasted ravioli each time she gets to come home but most of all Taylor loves Karlie's family. She loves seeing them all together, in one place laughing and talking together. Tonight is no different.

They eat dinner in the living room- enchiladas that are ridiculously good- and watch a movie that Kimby picked out since it was her turn. They spend the evening cuddled modestly on the couch watching the film. Everyone hangs around for a while once it's over, none of them have anywhere to be before everyone finally bids each other goodnight and retires to their rooms. Taylor loves these moments.

The next day is the day Karlie has hyped up for the past month and she wakes up stupidly early despite the game being played in the evening. Eventually game time comes and the pack slowly files in at their box in Busch Field. Everyone in their respective Cards gear, even Taylor who sports a Cardinals hat and t-shirt that were gifts from Kurt and Tracy for their first Christmas together. Karlie always loved sitting in the stands for the traditional experience but she can't complain of their view of the field now. Kimby bursts through the door of the room and heads towards the group with a wide smile on her face and a matching hat on. "Oh man, I'm so ready for this game. The Cards are gonna cream the Cubs."

There's less than an hour until the game starts and the Klosses order some drinks and appetizers to pass the time. Karlie pulls Taylor out of the booth and towards the Clubhouse Team Store claiming that she needs to look at the merch. Taylor just rolls her eyes and follows along as Karlie leads her by the hand to look at all the different merch available which the store employees are just stunned by the presence of the two.

Karlie quickly stops in front of one of the display stands. "Okay, we've been dating long enough and I've decided that you need to get a jersey. You've been watching the Cards for a while now, it's time to step up your commitment here."

Taylor agrees but on one condition, that she puts Swift 13 on the back and when they pay for the jersey and the numbers come off the press and Taylor changes, she swears she's never seen Karlie so happy.

When they arrive back to their suite there's an embarrassed steward in the room with someone Taylor doesn't recognize but guessing from the way Karlie squeezes her hand she knows it has to be someone locally famous. They quickly introduce themselves and Taylor, always the polite woman that she is, poses with the owner and his grand-daughter while Karlie and the rest of the Klosses are just dumbfounded that Bill DeWitt Jr. is in the same room as them. They quickly ask for a photo with him of their family and Taylor in tow. The group settles quickly after he leaves and soon the national anthem is being sung, then finally the game begins.

The first few innings are slow, the score never changing, but everyone seems to be enjoying it, Taylor is just able to follow along and not get too bored which is all she was really hoping to achieve anyway. Kimby is attempting to teach her the rules of baseball, but the youngest Kloss sister is mostly content with admiring the view of the players' asses in their baseball pants. Kurt and Tracy are just relaxing with their arms around each other;

Karlie is paying close attention to the game, baseball has always been her favorite sport. Even though the game's so dull, Karlie is just engrossed in it, eyes tracking the players' movements carefully. She always  glances over at Taylor to make sure she's doing okay and squeezes Taylor's hand whenever there's a tense moment. Which Taylor doesn't mind. She doesn't mind the cheers and congratulatory hugs and kisses that Karlie gives her whenever the Cards make a particularly good play or score a point.

Sometime during the game, dinner is ordered and Karlie and Taylor chow down on some 8$ hotdogs and sodas.

At the sixth inning the game is tied five to five and the bets have been placed. "Dude, there's no way the Cards are gonna lose," Kimby insists. Karlie agrees but stops quickly  when she notices Taylor tense up next to her. "What's wrong honey?" She says trying to survey her girlfriend.

Kimby's laughter is loud and hysterical in her ear. "Oh my god. This could not get any better."

Her father taps her on the shoulder and points to the large screen across the field with a small smile on his lips. Karlie turns away from Taylor with a slightly confused and concerned look on his face and- oh.

Oh shit.

She's on the screen.

She's on the screen with Taylor and they're encased in a cartoon heart with the words 'Kiss Cam' burning brightly above it.

They're on the fucking kiss cam.

She's on a kiss cam with Taylor.

Jesus Christ.

"Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!" Their family begins to chant excitedly around them, and the entire ballpark is chanting it soon after.

Karlie looks at her and licks her lips nervously waiting for Taylor to make the first move, Taylor can't help but track the movement. Taylor's down if Karlie is. Karlie is still just trying to read her lover's face when Taylor grins, slow and wide and waggles a finger at Karlie. "Come on, baby. Show me what you got."

And really, what else could Karlie do with an invitation like that?

The angle is kind of awkward with the way they're sitting, but she gets a hand on Taylor's neck, thumb pressed against her jaw, and pulls her closer until she can feel Taylor's breath against her face. Taylor pushes the rest of the way forward and meets her in the middle until their lips are colliding and sliding against each other. The entire ballpark screams in unison which makes Karlie blush. Karlie would love to take it further, lick her way into Taylor's mouth, maybe slide her hand up under the stupid graphic t-shirt she's wearing, but they're in public and it's really not the place for that. So she pulls back and settles for pecking a small kiss on the tip of Taylor's nose.

"Love you."

"I love you too." Taylor responds before turning herself back to the field. "And we're still on the screen."

"Don't mind them, they're just trying to get the full shot. I mean everyone in this stadium just witnessed the celebrity news for the next week I can already see the headlines, 'See Taylor Swift and Karlie Kloss's Adorable Kiss-Cam Moment.' or the even more idiotic version, 'Why Karlie and Taylor Make Us Believe In True Love.'"

"Shut up Kimby." But Karlie is grinning and blushing like a little kid. She spends the rest of the game with Taylor tucked into her side and doesn't even care when Taylor taunts her for the rest of the night about the Cards losing.
