2- All You Know & Love Will Die
I managed to get some rest without jumping out of the bed. It is so boring sitting around in the hospital, the only thing I have to look at is four white walls and an empty bed opposite me. It was so empty and it was the emptiness that freaked me out, especially at night and my over active imagination did not help.
I was finally able to change out of the hospital gown because Alexei left some clothes for me yesterday.
"Are you ready to go?" Alexei asked.
"Yes, I just need my glasses. You don't happen to know where they are, do you?"
"Ah yes, I forgot to give them to you, how silly of me."
"It's fine." I said whilst taking the glasses, they were a dark purple with black around the rectangular lenses, my favourite kind. I can't stand the oversized hipster, nerd glasses. They make my face look huge.
"Let's make a move then." He said leading the way to his silver Volvo s80.

The car pulled up right in front of an iron gate, which had intricate patterns of leaves weaving in and out of each other. The house was of grand architecture with stonewashed bricks and large windows with steel ledges. Trees guarded the house as if they were protecting their Queen. Moss covered the exterior of the house as if they were covering her modesty. The crisp, green leaves blew around in the gentle wind. I've never seen anything like this, it is truly beautiful.
For me the windows were the most interesting feature of the house. There are five of them visible at the front, all stained glass. One had a hurricane stained on it in a silvery shade of grey, like the colour of the moon. The second window had flowers and plant life, vivid emerald greens for the leaves and bright bold reds for the delicate flower petals. The petals had a slight pinkish hue to them when the light shined on them.
The third window had waves stained onto the glass, at first they appeared to look a sapphire blue. But if you tilted your head slightly to the left the waves turned a turquoise blue with a slight tinge of pale green. It reminds me of the time I went to the beach a few years ago. It was a hot summer's day, the sun blazing high in the sky, although it felt as if it was right next to me. I remember stepping into the glimmering sea, the feeling of the cool water flowing onto my red hot skin. It was complete and utter bliss. I would give anything in the world to be there right now, with my dad.
The fourth window had flames, which believe or not looked as if they were actually burning. I'm going crazy aren't I? The reds and the amber flames looked as if they were dancing in the window. It's so strange, beautifully strange. Yup, I'm going crazy. But one thing it did do was remind me of that night; everything seemed to remind me of it.
The four windows. Earth, air, fire and water. The four natural elements, it all makes sense. Well at least it does in my brain, which is strange because normally nothing makes sense to me.
Yet, the fifth and final window intrigued me the most.
It was of a woman.
She was holding two torches and two more either side of her. She had medium to long black, wavy hair. She had a long maroon dress with a split at the thigh. She looked familiar. I think I have seen a picture of her before, but I can't seem to remember her name.
"It's beautiful, isn't it?" Alexei said, whilst getting back into the pristine car.
"Yeah it is, who is that woman on the window? She looks familiar."
"She's called Hecate, the goddess of magic, witchcraft, night, moon, ghosts and necromancy."
"Ah, I knew I had heard of her before, my father used to talk about her sometimes."
