Undeniable Love

~3 days later (Lena's Home) 1 week before Stef goes back to Rhode Island~

Stef:

Its about noon time when Lena comes into the living room with me.

"I just got off the phone with mom & dad. They're coming over for dinner tonight."

"Okay."

"So I have to go get the ingredients for your famous chicken & dumplings, garlic bread, carrots, & green beans."

I sit up.

"Why? It's only noon, and the grocery store is right there."

"Mom told me to only buy my groceries from that store up in LA. So I told her I did."

I laugh.

"That was smart yet dumb of you."

"I know. Anyways wanna come?"

"Nah. I think I will stay back & tidy up the apartment."

She smiles.

"You're the best."

She kisses my cheek.

I was tempted to turn my head & steal a kiss, but I redeemed myself.

"I will be back in about 3 hours or so. That should give us just enough time to prepare."

I laugh.

"Be careful."

"I will. Love you."

"Love you too."

She leaves and I get up.

I fold the blanket laying it precisely over the couch. I straighten out the pillows.

Me & Mom share OCD so I noticed some things crooked on the wall. I obviously leveled them out.

I turned off the tv & organized the remotes, magazines, and newspapers.

I flattened out the rug & put a nice decor in the middle of Lena's coffee table.

I also added some of the frames she had stashed away around her tv to make it more decorative.

I go to the kitchen & organize everything in there.

I clean the dishes

Organize the cabinets

I even organized her pantry in alphabetical order.

Plus, I wiped down the counters & cleaned the stove.

I don't know why Lena thinks this is so hard.

You just wipe, move, clean.

Simple.

I head to the guest bathroom by the front door.

I organize the shampoos & conditioners.

I organize her cabinets.

I deep clean the sink, toilet, & shower.

I even give her sink a whole new decor.

I changed the lightbulbs too.

It's a way brighter environment.

I head down to my room.

I make my bed.

I turn on the lamp so I can see better.

I organize my night stand.

I fold some of my laundry.
