The news of the Earth's top 5 heroes' deaths spread worldwide. Other countries were now fully aware of how much of a threat All for One really is, however they decided not to help Japan despite their pleas and instead on strengthening their own countries' defenses. They couldn't afford to send more powerful heroes in, because if they did, the villains in their own countries would rampage. Even though they wanted to deal with All for One and help Japan out, the other countries decided to keep their human resources.

All Might punched a nearby wall in frustration and anger after he watched the latest news.

"Shit!" he growled.

Gran Torino had never seen him in such a tempered state of mind before. The always-smiling hope-filled Symbol of Peace was actually feeling powerless, frustrated, angry, and sorrowful. All of these emotions came out before and after the news report.

The five powerful heroes from different countries, dubbed as the "Earth's mightiest heroes", were all killed by none other than the most infamous man in the world right now, the villain known as All for One. All Might was once upon a time part of the squad, but obviously that was before he retired. He'd have sparring matches with Ubermensch, talked about American things (??) with Captain Gun, sipped tea with Chronopass, coached and trained Frostbite, and even learned a bit of martial arts from Monkey King.

They were some of his many friends. They even faced dangerous opponents together.

Now though, they were long gone. If he hadn't been careless, All for One wouldn't have gotten away from him. To make matters worse, he was now powerless against the villain and could only rely on his successor.

The loss of his friends wasn't the only thing tearing him apart at the moment. He also found out that Recovery Girl had been found murdered in the back of one of the safe trucks on an empty road. It was to their knowledge that the League of Villains committed the act. The same League that he failed to stop once and for all at the two incidents, one at the USJ and the other in Camino.

Recovery Girl was undoubtedly an important figure in Japan. Her healing quirk was beneficial for society and helped many heroes and citizens in times of need. Even All Might was one of those many. During the time, he was training with his teacher/sensei Gran Torino. It was also the time when he recklessly fought his first battle with the original All for One. Even in those days, Recovery Girl was there to help.

Tears started to roll from his cheeks down to the floor as All Might continued to punch the same spot on the wall.

"Shit! Shit! Shit! Shit! Shit!" he cursed repeatedly, punching the wall harder and harder each time. 

"Toshinori. Calm yourself." Gran Torino said in a cool tone.

"How can I be calm at a time like this?! That man...he's taken so much away from this city...this country already! If I just--ughh! None of this would've happened if I wasn't so stupid! Families wouldn't be shattered! Students would be enjoying their school lives, training to be the best! Heroes wouldn't have had to risk their lives! Recovery Girl would still be alive! Don't you see this is my fault?!" Blood dripped from the retired hero's knuckles as he stared at the hole in the wall.

Though his words seemed to be harsh, All Might was right. If he was more careful as to finish the villain off right away, society would still be at peace. He was to be blamed. For everything.

"Stop thing so negatively, Toshinori! You can't avoid fate. What matters now is that we should find a way. To put it simply, focus on training your successor. If there's anyone who has a chance against him, it would be someone who has One for All." Gran Torino's words had managed to calm All Might down to a level head.
