"Hawks? What are you doing here?" All Might asked.

"No time to explain." he said and detached feathers from his wings and carried the students away.

"Give me a report. What happened?" Hawks asked.

"All for One is fighting a student named Mirio Togata." All Might replied.

"Sir Nighteye's kid? He'll be able to buy us time then." Hawks said, his eyes scanning over the city.

"Buy us time? You don't think he'll beat the guy?!" Katsuki shouted.

The honey-haired hero didn't respond to the raging student as he continued to glide along through the sky alongside them.

"FUCK THIS!" Katsuki shouted.

After a while of silently flying, the students spotted a couple of vans and Hawks' sidekicks.

"Get in. We're going." Hawks instructed.

Hawks prepared one too many vans, by the looks of it. There were less survivors than he expected. 

He clenched his teeth then calmed down a bit with a 'tch'.

His motto of being at any situation in a flash was obviously crumbled since he was too slow to save the students. He was disappointed in himself. If only AFO never put up that barrier, he could've been there faster, he could've saved them. He felt like dying.

Hawks chuckled which surprised his sidekicks.

"What're you waiting for? Get in! My sidekicks will drive!" Hawks shouted.

He flew above the moving cars. Hawks was feeling powerless. Even if the barrier was broken early, he couldn't fight AFO by himself. 

In the distance, he spotted a violent whirlwind shaping the sky.

Lemillion was on the ground, bloody, and panting. Hard. All for One had his heel planted on the hero's chest,  twisting it deeper. 

"Looks like this is the end of the line for you." All for One says

no reply.

All for One gathered all his strength enhancing quirks into his right arm, enlarging it and making it grow.

"Bye, Lemillion." he swung his fist and smoke from debris spread all around.

When the smoke cleared, there was no corpse beneath him. Meters away stood the supposed-to-be-dead hero. He was clearly pushed over his limit seeing as the dancing electricity around him was growing considerably weaker.

I might die if I do this. One wrong move and I'll explode, but...I have to try, Lemillion thought.

"What's wrong? Giving up already?" All for One asked with a slight smirk.

"Do you know why my hero name is Lemillion or why I have a 1,000,000 on my chest?" Lemillion asked.

AFO couldn't care less, but he at least decided to hear the hero out.

"Why?"

"It's because I know I can't save everyone. Despite that fact, I will be the hero to save a million people!"

Izuku smiled and spread his arms out.

"If you defeat me, you'll not only save more than a million people, but you'll also return peace back to the country."

Silenced ruled before them.

"Tell me. Why did you become a hero?" Izuku asked.

"All Might. I want to become a hero that can save people without a doubt, and a smile on my face."

"I see. If the circumstances were different, we would've been friends."

The blonde silently wondered what he meant by that. 'Friends?'

"That was enough time to be considered a break, right?"

Lemillion nodded.

"This would be the last round. Only one of us will make it out alive." AFO warned.

Lemillion took a deep breath and channeled all his energy. All for One, once again, felt a little anxious. He felt he might actually lose this time. His arms shook nonstop as cold sweat formed on his forehead. This was it. This was the battle that would determine the future of Japan. The future of the world. 

"ONE FOR ALL: 1,000,000%!"

i named this chapter 'escape' because AFO/Lemillion didn't really have much fighting time so I focused it a little on the escaping part.
