"Shut up useless Deku!" the younger blonde said.
"But Kaccan! You shouldn't use your quirk to harm other people!" Izuku said as he held out both his arms in a block position, defending the crying kid behind him.
"It's not my fault he's weak! Move out of the way quirkless loser, or I might beat you up!" Katsuki warned as small sparks exploded on his palm.
Izuku still remembered all of the abuse he had to endure from his 'childhood friend'. No matter how hard the green-haired boy tried to befriend the blonde, he would always reject him, hurting him in the process.
Now that he really thought about it, society was messed up. Katsuki was a known bully, and he had no respect for any other individual. He was always scowling, and his pride was the worst, yet he got into the most prestigious hero school in the country, UA high. Why would such a reputable school think that Katsuki was anywhere near hero material?
Izuku truly never understood their logic in doing that. Maybe it was time to test that theory. If Katsuki could be a true hero.
(imagine this is the mall :3)
Izuku went to the boys' restroom, transforming into his clean black suit and signature pipe black mask in plain sight, though no one paid any attention, and looked at himself in the mirror.
'I'm ready,' he thought as he walked out, heading straight to Katsuki.
The blonde felt a tap on his shoulder and when he turned around...
"Hey" All for One greeted.
With widened eyes, he immediately recognized the man that approached him. Before Katsuki could react, a huge shockwave was sent out from the core of the villain and the blonde was the only one unaffected.
The lights of the mall went out quick. The store windows on either sides left and right, shattered. Some people were injured. There were little balls of flame scattered here and there.
"All-All for One..." Katsuki managed to say, staring intently at the villain before him.
"Hello, Kac-er-Bakugo."
Katsuki was feeling cold and a bit empty at the core. He had his Provisional License to take care of the villain, but for some reason, he couldn't move a muscle. Was it fear? Was it because he knew he couldn't hold a candle against the most infamous man in Japan right now, the man that killed Endeavor and destroyed an entire school?
"What do you want?" Katsuki asked calmly, his voice in a growly tone.
He had to distract All for One. Anytime now, pro heroes would arrive. It would be foolish and ultimately useless for him to try and fight a powerful villain alone, though he definitely wouldn't admit this out loud. Katsuki could feel the difference of their power just by being in All for One's presence.
