omg, this place is an entire ball. everyone is dressed so fancy and there's a whole stage and all these people who seem so familiar.OMG now I remember, they are the board members from the medical department in New York. I feel vincents hand behind my waist. I grab his hand and he doesn't even look at me. what has gotten into him? I knew it! he had been making all these promises to get me back and now he's ignoring me. like how could he? he won't even talk to me. there is no point in me even being here right now if he won't even talk to me. and then I see Ricoooo.
I run towards him and hug him tightly. he has been my partner through it all. he has struggled with me through all these years and yes our hospital is still not perfect yet but it's getting there. I'm very proud of both of us and without him, I don't think I would've made it this far. we've been friends for more than 15 years now and he's my ride or die in every situation and I trust him completely.
" girl, congratulations look at what you've done! look at what you've gained through all these years!" he's happy
I slap his arm hardly." shut up, we've done this together, I wouldn't have been able to do anything without you in my life and you know that. if it wasn't for you, then id still be crying somewhere in the corner after my last breakup, you've always held me together and kept my shit together, so I owe you this much." I truly appreciate him a lot.
just then I look over and vincent is talking to some other girl and right then we make eye contact and I'm pretty sure he can tell that I'm burning on the inside but I'm going to act like I don't care.
"wanna dance ?" Rico asked
" yes, let's go," I told him
while we were dancing my eyes were set at vincent and all the girls who surrounded him. and then Rico noticed. see the thing with him is that he notices everything. Rico knows everything about him it's like he looks right through my soul. he would make an amazing life partner, he has been talking to this girl who works with Damon. she visited us last time Damon was here, but he refuses to go back until I go so I don't feel lonely. Elena is an amazing girl and shes absolutely loving and caring and she doesn't even mind him staying here, I'm pretty sure its been a year now but this time Damon comes, she's probably going to come too.
" so checking your mans out hu?" he smirks while lightly twirling me.
" dude no come on were just here cause he forcefully bought me here and let's not forget how he's stubborn and annoying, I'm not falling for those puppy eyes again or his charming looks, not going to happen," I claim.
" good cause Damon is anyways coming so this time I'm going to make sure you guys starting dating, now that vincent doesn't matter to you, it shouldn't be so much of a problem to finally move on. ill ask him to go back" he exclaims as if he truly doesn't know.
" no you can't do that Rico, I'm not ready to move on yet!" I look him right in the eye.
" oh yeah, well its been 5 years now and I think that's enough time to move on, you're still lying to yourself if you don't go and tell vincent how much you still love him. if you don't love him then you wouldn't be jealous right now, wouldn't be getting mad cause he isn't talking to you, your heartbeat wouldn't be so high every time he passes by, you wouldn't be smiling every time he enters the hospital and you sure as hell won't be shaking out of fear and terror the first time you got to know that a patient with the name of Vincent was admitted in our hospital, so yeah you still don't love him, okay fine!" he's getting mad.
" fine! yes, I still love him even today every part of my soul and heart is his but what can i do huh?" I sob and run away.
