I leaned back against the wall. He was probably not going to come back today... or was it night. I sighed heavily. I had to come up with some kind of plan. I had to get out of here. I heard some footsteps above me, "Yeah I'm on my way Mom!" he shouted, it was probably his room on top of mine. I could use that to my advantage. A plan slowly started to take shape in my mind, but first I had to find out how to get rid of the rope.
I waited until I was sure I heard footsteps ontop of me. I started screaming as loudly as I even possibly could. I heard a thump as something hit the ground. The footsteps sped up like he was running, I heard the footsteps disappear and then a big noise like a door was hammered up into the wall. The footsteps came closer, he was definitely running down the stairs. he hammered open the door, rage in his eyes. He locked eyes with me and took a threatening step forward. I pretended like I was scared, I let out a little squeal and crept backwards, up against the wall, crumbling together, trying to hide from his anger. He looked at me and his look softened as he realized that I was scared. "Oh, Sweety... I'm so sorry, but didn't I tell you to be quiet" He took a step forwards, this time carefully trying not to scare me. I squealed and crept further up against the wall "Hey... It's okay I won't hurt you sweety" he added with a soft voice, it gave me chills. "I'm... I'm so.. sorry... I'm really sorry" I said while looking down, trying to hide my smile. "I had a nightmare" I looked up, forcing myself to cry to seem more convincing. "Oh... Sweety I will never let anything hurt you" He said while walking over to me, pulling me into a hug. I shivered, I hated him and yet I let him hug me. "You are shivering! Are you cold!" I opened my mouth to answer. "Don't, I'm sorry I haven't even thought of giving you a blanket. Urgh... I'm an idiot" He said while running up the stairs. "I'll be back Sweety" He shouted over his shoulder.
