I moved my head, carefully looking around the room. There was no evidence of the suffering I had gone through, the day before, or was it two days? I didn't remember. My head was aching, but my back was worse. He had been checking on me several times, every time making sure that there was no inflammation in the wounds. They had finally stopped bleeding, but I still wasn't able to lay on my back. The door opened and I looked up, smiling weakly at him. He smiled back and went over to untie the ropes, that held me down. He helped me down on the floor and made me kneel, laying halfway over the bed, so he could check the wounds. He lifted my t-shirt and I shivered as he exposed my ruined back. I laid completely still, trying not to make it worse. I hated when he touched me, he thought I had forgiven him, that I understood his need to punish me the way he had. "Now, here let me help you." He offered as I struggled to get back up in the bed. I took his hand and gently sat down on the bed. He handed me some paper and a pen, "You have three wishes, write them down and I will try and get it for you." I took the things and bent over my knees, I winched and sat back up, I wasn't able to bend that way. "You won't let me go, would you?" I asked jokingly, yet hoping he would. He gave me a stern look. "No of course not, I love you." He looked at me, with hunger in his eyes. "But if you truly loved me, you would let me go," I said, hoping to convince him. He looked at me, with slight anger in his eyes, "Don't push it-" He warned while he moved closer, I crept backward scared of what would happen. "Nono, of course not..." I laughed nervously. "Good girl," He said and reached out his hand to touch me, I flinched and moved further away. He looked at me with sadness in his eyes. "Well the wishes, I don't have the entire day." He said annoyed. I nodded and quickly scribbled down what I wanted. "What do you mean with clothes you get to decide?" He said and looked suspiciously at me. "Oh... Uhm, I wanted to order something online, you can sit with me while it is." I offered, he still didn't trust me 100% yet. "And you want a desk and some paint and stuff, correct?" He asked I nodded energetically "Yes! It becomes boring when you aren't around" I answered, hoping to win a little more of his trust. His face lightened up in a bright smile. "Of course, my love, anything for you! Do you want some books as well?" I smiled, the first part of my plan to get out, was running smoothly.
