I choose my outfit and my usual dark eye makeup. I come downstairs with chains hanging off my pants to annoy Katherine, as I know she hates my style.

She just looks at me up and down. We all get in the car. The Roller Rink isn't too far away. I get a feeling of Nostalgia as I walk inside. I love rollerskating but there's no way I'm going on the rink with a bunch of middle schoolers'. Amy has come with her own skates, of course. Dad and Katherine have already started talking to some people, so I wander off to find a Café. I order myself two slices of pizza. A few guys around my age are standing next to me but one looks awfully familiar.

"Hey! You're the guy that nearly ran me over today," I exclaim. He turns to me with a confused look. "Oh yeah. So-rry," he says, as his mates chuckle. "You could atleast act like you mean it," I say. "I do," he says, smirking. What a jerk. He stares at me. "You don't look like you're in middle school," he says. "Neither do you," I say. "Well my parents made me come for my brother," he explains. "Yeah, same with me," I say. I notice the typical roller rink music changes to slow music. He notices it too. "Catch ya round," he says, bolting over to the rink. I watch him grab one of his mates and go over to the DJ stand. "STOPPPPP!" his friend exclaims. I watch as they change the music to torment what looks like, his brother. I can't believe this guy, but I find myself watching in awe.

Jerk-Boy has ruined the night for all the kids so Dad finds me to tell me we are leaving. In the car, they complain about it the whole time. I find myself smirking thinking about him.
