Louis sat in his therapists office, having another one of his sessions. He nodded to everything she had said but his mind was easily distracted by images of Harry.

"Are you having anymore hallucinations Louis?"

"I don't think I'm talking to my dead children, who were never actually born if that's what you mean."

"hmm, and have you self harmed recently?"

"No. Can I have my phone back now? I really need to call someone."

"Is that person Harry Styles by any chance?" His therapist said pushing her glasses on her nose and looking at Louis shamefully.

"Yes." Louis whispered.

"Than no, I'm afraid you can't have your phone. Like I said before he's one of the main reasons why you are in hospital in the first place."

"He's my friend. We're getting back together!" Louis screamed.

"No Louis , now we need to get these thoughts out of you head, don't we?" The therapist said.

Louis stormed out of the room and ran straight to his bedroom, he sat there for the rest of the day just staring at the walls. Was this true? Did Harry not even care?

He opened his drawer and pulled out a key, it was the key to the abandoned bedroom, Thony and Hilke gave it to him before they left. He waited until it was dark and went into the therapists office took out his phone and walked cautiously to the child's bedroom, he stepped inside and sat down in the corner looking out at the moon lit sky.

He then called Harry.

"Hi Louis." Harry said answering the phone.

"Is this real?" Louis whispered.

"Is what real?" Harry asked.

"Us, are we really talking, did you really forgive me? This isn't one of my hallucinations right?"

"This isn't a hallucination Louis, this is real and I forgive you."

"The voices Harry, the voices they're getting worse." Louis said smacking his head with his spare hand repeatedly.

"What are they saying?"

"That you don't care, you don't want me anymore. No one cares about me anymore." Louis said sobbing.

Harry sucked in his breath and closed his eyes for a second, hearing Louis cry made his heart shatter, his best friend and the love of his life was hurting and he didn't know how he could help.

"Louis, it's okay please just breathe."

"I can't, I just want to leave, I want out of here but they won't let me. They're telling me you're the reason why I'm in here. That it's your fault. The longer I stay in here the worst I'm going to get." Louis sobbed.

"Do you remember my 18th birthday Louis?"

"What?"

"Do you remember it and what happend?"

"Harry I really don't-"

"No you are going to do exactly what I say, close your eyes and try and picture what happened."

"Don't hang up the phone, don't leave me again."

"I will never leave you Louis, now close your eyes and imagine."

........

"Where are we going?" Harry chuckled as Louis lead a blindfolded Harry down the long narrow path.

They then came to a sudden stop, Louis stood in front of Harry and stood up on his tiptoes and took off the blindfold.

Harry looked up and saw a beautiful house standing before him. Ivy and ferns grew through the walls of the old winding stone path, which led directly to the small but beautiful structure. The house loomed proudly behind creaky iron gates, planted leading up to the house were rows of trees crowned in crimson and rose bushes making the small house look grand in its awake.

"Why are we here?" Harry asked, looking up at Louis who was smiling widely at the young boy.

"This is your home." Louis said.

"What?"

"I bought it for you, for us. You always told me about this house and how one day when you were old enough you were going to buy it. I just thought I'd buy it for you, for us instead. Happy birthday Harry." Louis said smiling.

"Oh Louis, this is the best gift anyone could ever give me. Thank you I love you so much." Harry said pulling the much smaller boy into a hug, squeezing Louis tightly.

Harry then let go and took Louis hand, he opened the gate and the two of them ran up the winding path and Louis opened the door and they stepped inside.

The house was welcoming from the open door to the wide hallway. Upon the walls were the photographs of the boys smiling and laughing full of love and two years of memories. The floor was old-fashioned tiles and the colour of the tiles were a blend of deep homely browns, the walls were the greens of summer gardens meeting a bold white baseboard. The banister was a twirl of a white beauty as the winding staircase lead up to numerous closed rooms. The house was covered in vintage furniture and in the living room that was so big and grand a piano sat in the back corner.

Harry smiled exploring the rest of the house never letting go of Louis hand.

"Welcome to our new home." Louis whispered grabbing harry from behind and kissing his neck.

"Our forever home." Harry whispered leaning back smiling, enjoying the soft kisses that Louis was planting on his neck.

......

"Harry?" Louis said after moments of silent.

"Yes Lou."

"Why that memory? Why out of all the memories we shared, why that one?"

"It was the most special memory, you remembered my dream house and you bought it for us to live in, despite the fact that I could have helped you, you planned it all. You made it our home and it was perfect. Everything about that day was perfect. You know I never took down those pictures, Finn isn't allowed to touch the piano and I still have some of your clothes here and I never once threw them out. Your favourite t shirt, I wore that when it smelt of you and I still do even though your scent is gone. I miss you, I miss us."

"Oh harry, I am so sorry for everything. I love you." Louis said crying.

harry took in a deep breath and smiled, last time Louis said that he hung up the phone so harry couldn't respond.

"I love you too forever and always." Harry whispered.
