Through the Years

Chapter 25

Louis paced up and down the stage, just staring out at the seats, thinking about tonight. He took in deep breaths and started to mumble to himself.

"Everything okay Louis?" Liam asked, walking up with Zayn and Niall.

"Where is he?"Louis asked looking around. "Where's Harry?"

"He's gone to the toilet, can you really not spend two minutes away from him?" Zayn asked.

"It's not that, I don't need to be with him constantly. He can do things without me."

"Then what is it?" Niall asked.

"This is going to sound insane but I'm going to propose to Harry." Louis said.

"Are you mad?" Zayn screamed.

"Yeah I am actually, in case you didn't notice I have psychotic depression, but I know what I'm doing and I just want to marry the love of my life." Louis exclaimed.

"You're right and I totally respect you and your decision to marry him. I'm not going to stand in your way." Zayn said hugging Louis.

"How are you going to do it? Do you need help?" Liam asked.

"Yes I do need your help, so basically two friends of mine are coming to the concert tonight. They're going to give people roses and when I tell them to throw the roses are all going to fall onto the stage and then the three of you are going to personally hand Harry some roses and then when it gets to me I'll get down on one knee and propose." Louis said.

"That's beautiful, but is it going to work?" Niall asked.

"I hope so, I mean I trust our fans and I know that they can pull it off."

Meanwhile waiting outside the O2 stadium Hilke and Thony we're handing out roses to fans.

"Remember to throw them when Louis gives the signal. He will say throw them and you just need to throw them on the stage." Hilke and Thony repeated to fans.

"What's this for? It's a lovely idea but why are we doing this?" A fan asked the two girls.

They looked at each other and smiled and just shrugged. They knew the exact reason but they didn't want to tell the fans. They wanted it to be a surprise just as much as it was a surprise to Harry.

Everything was changing. Louis had been through hell and back, he had suffered with voices inside his head, he had suffered with hallucinations, depression and anxiety. He had feared that he would never be himself again. And although he was still recovering there was one thing he was certain of he couldn't do it without Harry. The reason he lived and breathed was because of Harry.

Louis never thought he'd find someone quite like Harry. He was the bravest person Louis had ever met, he looked at Louis demons in the eyes and smiled every time, being his reason of happiness, guiding him  through those hallucinations. He didn't run and he wasn't scared, everything that Louis thought he would fear.

It was twisted and the thought that Harry could love that side to Louis, the dark, cold sinister side was what made Louis love him even more.

Harry was there through everything, the tears the screams at 3am, the hallucinations the demons inside Louis head. No matter what Louis went through Harry was there and he would always be there for the end of time and forever.

"Are we ready?" Harry said looking at his four best friends.

"Let's do this!"Niall squealed.

"To One Direction." Zayn said.

"One direction." The others said.

And they all ran on stage and started to perform, Louis looked out to the crowd and just as promised Hilke and Thony were at the very front cheering him on. They looked up at him and nodded, he smiled at them.

The music stopped an hour into the show, the four boys stood there silently and Harry looked around confused as the whole crowd was silent.

"What's going on?" Harry said into his microphone.

"Guys are you ready?" Louis screamed and the whole crowd erupted into massive cheers.

"Throw!" Louis, Niall, Liam and Zayn shouted.

The fans all screamed and threw the roses at Harry, he looked around and laughed as hundreds of flowers landed at his feet on the floor in front of him, fans were getting hit by flowers, they were everywhere.

Harry then turned around and saw Niall holding a flower he walked up to Harry and gave it to him

"For you." He said.

Liam then followed "a flower for his love."

Then Zayn "a flower to say thank you, these flowers are to show you how much he loves you."

"What is happening?" Harry asked and just as he said that Louis walked forward and took in a deep breath. He looked at the crowd and shushed them and they all went silent once more. He took in one more deep breath and got down on one knee.

"Oh my god." Harry whispered.

"Harry Edward Styles, this may seem crazy but I am a little crazy. People say I'd be lost without you, And you know what? It's true. I don't know how I ever got by until the day I met you. You saved my life on more times you can imagine, I have fought the demons inside my head and I've been so lost and confused but there's one thing I'm sure and that's my love for you. I'm not perfect and I have my flaws but I know you see past those and that's one of the many things I love about you. I love you more than words could ever say. So If you feel the same,And I truly hope you do,
There's something very important, That I want to ask of you. Instead of you and I , let's  become we. I'm asking you to share my life,
Will you marry me?"

Harry took in a deep breath, he smiled at Louis and looked down at the ring. He then opened his mouth and began to answer.
