Harry breathed on the other end of the phone, he smiled ever so slightly, it had been years since he had heard Louis voice.
Years since they had spoken and it was like it was yesterday, he had never forgotten the way Louis talked, it was everything he wished for and more. However, he longed for Louis touch and that hurt.
"I tried to visit but they didn't let me." Harry said.
"I know."
"I'm so sorry Louis, I was just so angry with you and I blamed you for everything."
"It was my fault though, I cheated on you."
"I know but the way I reacted was wrong. You were manipulated, everything was falling apart. We weren't speaking and I didn't care about you as much as my music. I shouldn't have done it. You know all I've ever listen to is your album. I've missed you."
"You've got a boyfriend though?"
"Who Finn? He's not my boyfriend. He's just a good friend of mine, he was an old friend from school and he needed a place to stay, I didn't want to be lonely so he moved in. We are nothing."
"I tried to reach out to you Harry, I called you a number of times but you just hung up on me. You never let me explain."
"You didn't Call me Louis, you tried to a few days after it all happened and I just hung up the phone. The only time you recently called was when Finn answered."
"Wow, I thought I called you a few times that must have been another one of my hallucinations." Louis chuckled.
"I miss you." Harry sighed.
"I miss you too." Louis said just as soon as the door knob turned and Thony and Hilke stepped inside.
"Get better so I can see you."
"I will. I love you." Louis breathed hanging up the phone not waiting to hear the answer. It would hurt too much as all he wanted was to see Harry but he couldn't.
"How was the phone call? Are you and Harry back together?" Hilke asked.
"No, it's going to take more than just a phone call but it's a step in the right direction." Louis said.
"Because you can only go in one direction and that's into Harry's arms." Thony laughed.
Hilke let out a small chuckle but Louis looked at her shamefully shaking his head at her terrible joke.
The three of them then snuck through the building and headed back towards the therapist office, they put the phone back in the cupboard and walked out.
"Thank you so much for helping me." Louis said pulling the two girls into a hug.
"Don't mention it Louis, we just want to see you happy." Thony said smiling up at Louis.
"We're being discharged in a few days it was fun to have one last adventure." Hilke said.
"So I won't see you again?" Louis asked.
"Of course you will, we'll be front row at your concerts, cheering you on." Thony said giving Louis one last hug.
Then the three of them went their separate ways to bed.
That night Louis dreamt about Harry and their reunion. He dreamt about hugging Harry and feeling his touch, he dreamt about kissing Harry and his soft lips, but suddenly everything went dark and Louis was gasping for breath as he screamed out Harry's name, he looked around frantically but Harry wasn't around.
Louis was falling, he was gasping for air as he kept on plummeting down into nothingness, into complete darkness. His whole world was being stripped away from him. He cried for help but nothing came out as his throat became tighter and his body started to ache with pain. This was it this was the end. He was slowly dying.
Louis sat up frantically and wiped the sweat from his forehead. He let out a loud sigh.
"Just one night, can I please have a nice dream for one night." Louis whispered.
He looked at the time and sighed it was 7am and the morning shift would be starting soon, he sighed, grabbed his towel from his radiator and walked into bathroom. He stood under the boiling hot water thinking about Harry and the phone call previously.
"I have to get out of here, I have to find Harry." Louis whispered closing his eyes and letting the heavy pressure of water fall onto his face.
