Radhika gripped the door handle to Krish's hotel room and she opened the door hesitantly. Peering inside, she saw nobody but she still called out his name.
"Krish?" called out Radhika.
"Hello? Krish?" called Radhika again.
Still nothing. Radhika had decided to go and look for Krish. She couldn't fathom the reason as to why she had the inclination to go look for someone who irked her so much but she decided to do it anyway.
Radhika ventured inside the room and looked further inside. Suddenly she lost her balance by tripping on a beer bottle and fell on the bed. She had landed right next to someone. His slurred speech was recognizable and decipherable as his arm landed on Radhika and he slowly rolled over and was on top of her.
She gulped and looked at her.
"Wow! You aren't going to run away this time are you?" he said sarcastically.
Radhika felt a twinge of guilt. "Krish I'm sorry."
"No no! Please. This time make sure to sprint when you do it so I get the message."
Radhika sighed and looked at him furrowing her eyebrows. "Krish I.." But before she could complete her sentence, his nose brushed hers and she inhaled his cologne.
Before she could stop herself her hands suddenly traveled to his shoulders and her grip tightened on them. Her hands clutched his shirt while his hands went to her cheeks. His eyes went down to her lips and she looked down, not meeting his gaze.
Krish closed his eyes and his lips grazed over hers. Radhika realized what she was doing and what was happening. She pushed Krish off of her and got off the bed.
"You are a coward! Why don't you just admit that you don't like my presence," he yelled at her.
"Why do you care?" she yelled back.
Krish suddenly grabbed her by her arm and she fell on top of him.
"Because a girl has never rejected me the way you are right now and it is driving me insane," he said huskily.
Radhika gulped as she looked into his eyes. As she was about to respond, he flipped the position so she was under him instead. Krish looked at her awaiting the response but as she was about to respond, his eyes closed and his head fell on top of her chest. She was under the impression that he had passed out due to the excess consumption of alcohol.
"Because I'm a widow Krish! In these past four years, I don't know if I'll ever give love a second chance. My life has fallen apart. No man wants a woman who carries emotional baggage."
Radhika covered her mouth to prevent a sob from coming out. She couldn't push Krish off of her and after many attempts, her eyes began to slowly close as everything faded out of the picture.

Radhika felt someone shaking her. She also felt a huge weight on top of her body and a head on her chest. Suddenly her eyes opened fully and adjusted to the light.
"Krish!" yelled a woman's voice.
Radhika's mouth fell open as she looked around in disbelief.
Multiple people were crowded around the hotel bed as if it was a crime scene. The blankets were astray, Krish's shirt had a couple of buttons that were unbuttoned showing his defined chest, Radhika's scarf was thrown off the bed and her blouse was exposing her cleavage a little bit.
Nivedita raised her eyebrows in shock as she looked at both Krish and Radhika. Shanaya was doing a victory dance. Shravan covered his mouth to prevent laughter from coming out and Krish's other brothers were also silently laughing in the background. A pair of adults who looked like Krish's parents stood enraged.
"KRISH MALHOTRA!" yelled Neelima, Krish's mother.
Krish rubbed his eyes and suddenly realized that a lot of people were staring. Krish grabbed the blanket to cover himself and his unbuttoned shirt as he felt exposed.
Radhika glared at him and snatched the blanket from his hand and covered herself. "I'm a girl. Have some shame, you could have offered me the blanket." snapped Radhika.
"What the hell is this?" Krish's mom asked furiously. "Did you.." she said pointing at Radhika and then proceeded to gasp melodramatically.
"No! Please, aunty, it isn't what it looks like," said Radhika.
"Shut the hell up! I didn't ask you. The question was directed towards my son."
"But aunty.."
"But Neelima! At least let the girl explain herself. Just because she was on a bed with Krish doesn't necessarily mean that.." said Krish's dad, Ashok.
"Please Ashok! You have always had a soft spot for our sons, especially Krish. I know when to teach them a lesson and now is the time. I have been looking for Krish since last night. Ever since his dance performance, he stormed off somewhere and I yelled at the hotel staff to go find him."
"Mom I was drunk I.," said Krish but he was interrupted by Neelima's forceful behavior that she exhibited on Radhika.
Neelima suddenly grabbed Radhika's shoulder tightly and she winced in pain.
"Mom!" yelled Krish. "Radhika and I did nothing. She just came to look for me after last night."
"I don't care who the hell she is Krish! Security, throw whoever the hell this is out."
A guard came and seized Radhika by the shoulder aggressively.
"Wait please!" yelled Shanaya. "She's my friend."
Nivedita pushed everyone out of the way and followed the security guard. "Sir! I demand that you unhand her at once."
"Radhika!" yelled Krish's voice as he got up to stop the madness.
His voice faded away as the security guard threw her on the floor of the hotel hall and then slammed the door on her face as she sat there on the floor helplessly.
