Radhika scooted over closer to Krish and inhaled a breath. She started wiping his lips gently. Her lips accidentally brushed his making both of them jump. Her hand's grip tightened on the cloth as he put his hand on her shoulder.
She put one hand on his chest as she wiped his lips. When it was clean, his lips brushed against her's again and suddenly her heart began to pound really fast. Radhika threw the cloth to the side and clutched his shirt while he put one hand around her back and pulled Radhika in closer.
"You better not run away this time," he said whispering in a husky voice.
"You say that like me running away from you is a bad thing," she said softly.
'It is." he said.
Radhika's nearly fainted as she heard those lines come out from his mouth. They both began to lean in but as they did, a loud bang interrupted them. They both jumped and Radhika immediately got up from the bed and cleared her throat.
"Should I get the ice cream?" asked Radhika.
"Sure. Let's go back outside."
Both of them walked back outside the door, disregarding the fact that they almost kissed.
Almost.

Radhika sat down as she looked at the vanilla ice cream. She dipped the spoon in the bowl and scooped out a dollop of it. She held the spoon in front of Krish's mouth.
Nivedita was absent at dinner along with a few other girls from the bride's side of the family.
He opened his mouth and ate it.
Shanaya looked at her brother in law in shock as she saw her best friend feeding him generous amounts of ice cream.
"How did you do it?" Shanaya said mouthing across the table.
Krish simply winked back at his sister in law and just gave her thumbs up while Radhika fed him the ice cream. Radhika's irritation had melted off and she just continued feeding him the ice cream. Her paranoia came back as she saw Krish's mother staring at her with a glare on her face.
"Krish, I think I should stop. Your mom is kind of giving me dirty looks."
"Just ignore. I could care less about what she thinks. In her mind, the only girl that's acceptable to her is the one she's going to pick for me when I get married in the future."
"Ah. So she's a typical stringent mother who only permits certain girls to be in her son's vicinity. Not that she can really control that. I saw how many girls trailed after you when you came inside the hall." said Radhika snorting derisively.
"How can you blame them?" he asked smirking.
"Says the guy who let an outraged girl throw ice cream in his face. Face it, Krish. Not every girl is attracted to you."
"Why did you throw that in my face?" he asked changing the subject.
"Because that was a cocky thing for you to do! You could have just asked me if I was married. You didn't have to get drunk and feign your drowsiness."
"Okay you have a point, but why did you even care if I went missing? Why did you even come looking for me in the first place?"
Silence.
Radhika looked at her feet and her face turned a brilliant shade of red. Krish gave her a knowing look.
"Exactly. At the end of the day, I'm always right. You are attracted to me. Every girl is." said Krish like a know it all. "I win this argument like the shoes," he said smiling smugly.
Radhika looked furious with herself.
He loves to tease!

The farewell ceremony was about to start and people were trying to put their shoes on. Except there was one little problem.
No one could find their shoes.
People were screaming and running around the place. None of the shoes could be found.
"Everyone please remain calm!" said Shanaya's mother. She was trying to pacify the priest who couldn't find his shoes either.
Krish and his brothers tried to go find the shoes for the guests but no one could find their shoes.
"Aunty if I may?" asked Radhika politely if she could head up to the stage and speak to the wedding guests through the microphone.
Radhika head up on stage and took the microphone. She looked satisfied with the present situation and started speaking.
"Since the groom's party thought they were extremely clever by protecting their brother Shravan's shoes before anyone could steal them, me and my best friend Nivedita decided to do something equally sly," said Radhika laughing and handing the microphone over to Nivedita who was now heading up on stage.
"Since we couldn't get our hands on the groom's shoes. We decided to steal all the guest's shoes!" said Nivedita.
