School.

The place where teenagers gather to learn, and make fun of each other.

Hazel strongly disliked it. Especially starting in the middle of the semester.

But here she was, getting up from her comfortable bed, to go to a place she didn't even want to be at. "God this sucks." Muttering profanities to herself, Hazel dressed herself in some ripped jeans and a Metallica shirt.

"Hun come down and get some breakfast!" Marina called up and Hazel sighed, pulling her hair into a ponytail and slipping downstairs.

For it being so early, it was a surprise to Hazel to see her mother happily setting her out a plate of pancakes. "Pancakes? Cool." Gladly taking the plate, Hazel quickly chowed down on her food.

"Your grandparents got you a present, it's waiting out in the driveway." From the twinkle in her mother's eyes, Hazel knew it was a good surprise. But then again, everything she got from her grandparents was a good surprise. Nodding, she rinsed of the plate and made her way outside. To her surprise, a beautiful blue Mustang Fastback was sitting in the driveway. It was such a gorgeous car, the very same that her father had owned. A not was placed under the wiper.

My dear granddaughter,

It took me awhile to find one with same specs as your dad's, I know it's not the same color. But it's the best I could do. Good luck at school.

Love,
Grandpa E.

That man really knew what to get his granddaughter. Smiling, Hazel told her mother goodbye and hopped into her new car. After revving the engine, she backed up and drove down the driveway.

Here she was, pulling into Forks highschool. Home of the Spartans. The sight of her pretty blue car made everyone stop and stare. It made Hazel even more nervous to step out of the vehicle. Thankfully, she'd pulled up to a pretty beat up truck, and that hid the sight of her car.

The owner of the truck was still in it. A pretty girl with fair skin, dark brown hair, and big brown eyes. Making eye contact, the girl smiled and Hazel waved. Awkward. Sighing, she grabbed her bag and stepped out into the cool Washington air. "That's a nice ride." A boy, called and Hazel shrugged, heading for the door to the school.

Weaving her way through the halls proved to be difficult. There were a ton of people. Shoving her way through, Hazel eventually made it to the office. Gathering her time table and giving a curt smile to the secretary, Hazel ran out the door. What she didn't expect was bumping into someone and falling on her butt. "Aw, fuck..." She quickly gathered her papers.

"Sorry bout that." A southern accent startles the poor ebonette and her eyes shoot up to view the owner of the voice.

He was absolutely fucking beautiful.

Golden hair framed his sharp jaw. His amber eyes shone with emotion, even though he physically looked like he was in pain. His smooth pale skin looked almost unnatural. "N-no, it's fine I ran into you." Smiling, she pulled herself off the floor and adjusted her shirt. "Hazel." Stating her name, she waited for the boy to respond.

"Jasper." He breathed out, and his lips quirked up slightly. Readjusting her ponytail, a piece of her silver strip slipped into view. Jasper visually stiffened, staring at the piece of hair. "I should get going, it was nice meeting you." Turning on his heel, Hazel watched as Jasper sped down the hallway.
