"Umm I don't know" I said hoping he would let it go.
"Valid answer. You'll find the one" he responded ruffling my long curls like I was a child.
"I guess. Truth or dare?"
"Dare" he smirked.
I thought long and hard what I would ask, "I'll go easy, I dare you to text Christina and tell her you still have feelings for her" I said with a grin on my face from his reaction.
"No way, I'll do anything else." He pleaded but I simply shook my head, "I thought you said you were going to go easy on me" he said as he took his phone out and started texting her. When he was done he showed me the message: hey umm I know you think that I hate you but I don't, I still have feelings for you and I hope you do too. I wanna work this out
"I didn't think you would actually do it." I said completely shocked.
"Sweet cheeks, I'm not the type to back down from a dare" he said with a wink.
We went on playing truth or dare for 45 minutes then Serena came home and heard us laughing so she burst into his room.
"What the hell are you two doing?" She said startling us.
"Who the hell gave you permission to come in my room?" Axel snapped back. Then her eyes were on me oh gosh here comes the word vomit.
"I uh, we were just umm, we were playing truth or dare. Umm I'm Cassie, Cassie uh Montgomery" I babbled standing up from Axel's bed putting out my hand for a handshake. She simply looked at my hand then to Axel and turned around and left.
"Don't worry about her. She likes to think she's in control" he said shaking her off.
"Yea I should probably be going, my mom is gonna get worried." I said picking up my bag.
"Nonsense stay, plus we have that lab report to finish" he said blocking the door.
"Uh sure" I giggled at his desperation "I'll just text my mom to let her know".
When I was done we went on working in our lab report.
Knock, knock Axel went to open his door and Serena walked in."Hey, Cassie - was it- I'm making dinner, do you want to stay?" She asked with a smile. Was this girl fucking bipolar? A second ago she wanted to kill me.
"Yea sure thank you" I replied
"You're cooking?" Axel asked Serena "I think we should just order takeout"
"Oh my gosh, the last time I cooked it wasn't that bad!" Serena chuckled.
"I'll help if you want" I suggested
"That's so nice thank you" Serena said to me "when you guys are done here you can come"
"We're almost done, Axel should be able to finish the conclusion on his own" I said looking over to him.
Serena walked out of the room and I followed after ruffling Axel's chestnut brown hair and gave him a little wink.
Me and Serena fooled around cooking some pasta and meatballs and chatted a bit.
"Can I ask you something?" She said stirring the sauce.
"Yea sure" I said looking at her.
"What do you think of my brother?"
"Um he's ok. What do you mean though?" I said trying not to blush.
"I mean you two have gotten really close this semester, always on the phone or at each others house, I'm just saying I think you like each other" she said smirking
"You're insane, I was completely invisible up until I met him and everyone started thinking I'm the reason he broke up with Christina while he has always been popular."I said feeling my ears heating up
"If you say so. Hey can you go call him to come set the table?"
"Sure, I'll be right back." I walked up the stairs to Axel's room to find him going though my phone.
"What the hell dude?" I snapped snatching my phone. Sure I didn't have much in there other than books.
"I was just going through your book collection" he smirked
"Sweet cheeks, I wouldn't go through your private stuff" he said trying to make it better.
"My books are private, what if I had erotic books on here?" I responded with a wink.
"Hmm, freaky. Nice" he said looking me up and down and getting closer. It was weird, the way he was approaching me and I could feel my cheeks redden when there was about a foot in between us.
"What's wrong, sweet cheeks? Too close?" He said getting even closer so I backed up. But he only got closer until I was pinned up against the wall.
"Its cute the way you try to flirt, but its no match" he was so close now that as he whispered onto my ear I could feel his lips brushing against my cheeks. Oh how I wanted to kiss him.
The tension was so much I could smell it burning. Wait that's not us!!
"Fire. Burning." I screamed as I raced out of his room to find him following closely behind.
