Well I knew Serena did a good job, but I wasn't expecting Axel to be ogling at me.

"Hey, I think you have a little bit of drowl right there" I smirked pointing at the corner of his mouth. Serena giggled as she stepped around me and started walking downstairs.

"Oh sweet cheeks, you don't know what you do to me" Axel's cheeks burned a crimson red as he winked at me. He turned to go down the stairs. I followed shortly behind with my ears in fire. Do I really have an affect on him? No way! Maybe. Man I really hate myself right now. Thinking of all these things, my mind wasn't working and I missed a step. The next thing u knew, I was tbling down the stairs.

"Damn clutz, are you okay?" Axel said putting out a hand yo help me, I thought he would laugh at me for being such a clutz, but he didn't.

I nodded and took his helping hand. Once u was up he said "Good so now I can laugh and not feel guilty" and he immediately burst into laughter. Jerk!

"Stop, its not funny" I huffed, folding my arms.

"You're right, its hysterical" he managed to get out doubling over.

When we got to the kitchen there was already French toast and tea on the table for all three of us. There was also a note from my mom saying thtat she was called out of town for a conferenece with her real estate agency for a week. We were already running late so we just grabbed the French toast and ran out to our cars, well their cars and my truck.

In no time we're at school, well actually I was a few minutes behind, we parked next to each other and walked into the school.

"I'll catch you guys at lunch. My homeroom is on the first floor" she announces and she branches off from us.

Going up to the second floor Axel and I take the stairs.

"I should change you name from sweet cheeks to sweet ass." He calls from behind me on the staircase. "Those pants do wonders for that ass you got there babe." I can sense his smirk tugging on his lips.

"Oh my God. Shut up." I say. Once were at the top of the stairs and walking side-by-side I turn to him and say "You know, if wanted to see how great my ass was, you could have just asked."What the hell is wrong with me? Flirting with jocks is not what I do anymore. The last jock I actually talked to ruined my family's life.

"Awe look at you popping dirty jokes now, glad to see I'm changing you" he winks and holds my hand.

Tingles shoot up my arm and my heart flutters this boy is like a drug.

We walk into homeroom like this, hand in hand, and instead of my front row seat he takes me back to the last row where he usually sits with his friends. His friends looked up and their eyes shifted almost in sync from me to Axel.

"Chase, Jack, Jaymie this is Cassie. Cass these are my best friends" Axel introduced us.

"Hey,nice to met you guys" I said to all of them, I could feel Christina's eye's burning a hole in my back.

"Is there something you're not telling us dude?"Chase replied looking from me to Axel and back.

"You've got yourself a cutie Ax" Jaymie said eyeing me with a smirk plastered on his face.

"Hey Ax, how come we're just now meeting you're beautiful piece of eye candy? We've known you since second grade, I thought we were closer than this" Jack questioned.

"Come on now guys give him a break. I wouldn't bring a girl around you guys if she looked this good." Chase winks at me.

"Guys we're not together, but if we were you guys would be the first I tell" Axel interrupted their little fun. They all respond with chuckles.

"Yea we're just friends" I agree.

"No, technically best friends and room mates" Axel chuckles placing his arm around the small of my back, giving me chills up my spine looking down at me smiling. Now I could definitely feel Christina's eyes on me as if she was trying to kill me with the force.

"I hear wedding bells either way" Jack says and all the boys make kissy noises.

We simply shake our heads and make our way to chemistry class. Boys will be boys. But I wouldn't mind being Axel's "piece of eye candy".
