Cassie'S POV
A week after Axel and I told each other how we feel he says he's taking me out. I don't even know what to wear. I've seen the girls he's gone out with and the things they wear, I have nothing like that. Serena is going to have to find out about this earlier than we expected.
"Going somewhere?" Serena asked as she walked into the room
"Yes, I need your help." I took a breathe "don't tell Axel I told you this. We don't really want anyone to know yet." I said taking another breathe.
"Secret safe with me" she said taking a seat on the window ledge.
"Okay, last week Axel kissed me and told me tht he likes me so I told him that I like him too. We aren't 'dating' yet but we're hanging out more like a couple." I raced stopping for air "so tonight he's taking me to dinner but I don't know what to where and I'm freaking out."
Her jaw was practically on the floor, "and you're just now telling me this." She accuses finally picking her jaw off of the carpet.
"We didn't want anyone to know until it was official." I reassured "can you help me please?"
"Sure." She said getting up and walking over to the closet looking at me. Then I guess a light bulb went off as she spun around and started digging in the closet coming out with a little black cocktail dress and some pink pumps to bring it over the edge.
She put up our 'No Boys Allowed' sign on the door and started my makeover.
Needless to say my makeup was flawless again, but after a lot of convincing she got me to cut my hair a little and curl it.
"Damn" is all I could say when I took a look in the mirror at Serena's work.
"Axel will be drooling all night" she said handing me a small black clutch. I place my phone in the bag and look at my self. I must admit I like this new me, I look like the old me, before it happened
My phone started ringing, it was my mother with her second call of the day. Ever since she left she calls twice a day in the morning and at night. I haven't told her about my date yet, I'm not sure if I should or not.
"Hey mom how's the conference?" I answer.
"Great dear, umm actually they're asking me if I would be willing to relocate to North Carolina in a week for a promotion." She told me.
"Oh cool. That's awesome, so I would stay here while you're in North Carolina?" I said sounding more like a question.
"No sweetie. You would be coming with me. I guess we could put the house on the market and move our stuff down. But we'll work out the details when I come home tomorrow morning." She said trying to sound comforting.
"What?! Wait-" I shuddered.
"I know this is a lot but we'll talk about it. Good night dear" she said hanging up.
What the hell?!?! She can't do this, who does she think she is. My life just started to be like a life and we're moving.
