Hi! Sorry for the slow updates, I have a lot less time than I thought I would even though school is over. (or maybe I am lazy). I have been reading Pride and Prejudice if anyone needs a book recommendation. It is pretty good, and actually a lot more interesting than I thought it would be. A bit difficult, but a challenge is fun! Anyway, sorry about that, I will try and update more, as well as write longer chapters, unlike this pretty short one. BTW, if you like listening to songs while reading, I recommend Don't Give Up On Me by Andy Grammar (shoutout to any Five feet apart fans). Remind Me To Forget by Kygo (shoutout to Five Feet Apart fans). Also, try If That's What You Wanted by One Republic (shoutout to Fault in Our Stars fans). WARNING: If you are a fan of either of these books and have watched the movie, you might cry (i cried every time i watched them. And I have watched 5 feet apart at least 5 times). Comment any other suggestions for songs that fit this chapter/if you like song recommendations for the story. My friend @overcrazyfangirl (check out her kotlc fanfic!!!) has posted links to songs that fit each chapter/part, I really enjoyed it and decided to try recommending songs for each chapter. Anyway, back to the story!

Sophie stared at Keefe, tears filling her eyes.

" What? " She took his hand. "Keefe, you better be joking right now." He pulled his hand out of her grasp. "Who are you, and where am I?" he said, fear visible on his face. Sophie stared at him. He was serious. She ran out of the Healing Center as the tears came. She heard someone running after her, calling her name, but she kept going. She ran through the maze of hallways, faster and faster, couldn't see through the blur of tears. She ran until she collapsed in an empty green hallway. She leaned against the wall and cried. This was pointless. Why did she even bother fighting the Neverseen? They always won. It was hopeless. With Keefe, they barely had a chance at winning. But now Keefe was gone. Her worst nightmare had come true. Looking up, she recognized the hallway. This was where she and Keefe had met. Keefe didn't know that. He couldn't remember how she had ruined Lady Galvin's cape. Or whatever the Great Gulon Incident was. She almost giggled at the thought she would probably never find out now. He didn't remember their window sleepovers. How he had wrapped his cape around her shoulders. Keefe didn't know how awful his parents were, which was probably a good thing. Or how he liked her, and she liked him. Keefe didn't remember Sophie. She curled up on the floor and sobbed. She cried until she was empty, and felt nothing but a numb sort of pain. What had Lady Gisela done to him? Sophie felt a blinding surge of rage. She felt her inflicting turn on and saw an eerie red glow around her from it. Screaming, she imagined her inflicting reaching Lady Gisela. She saw her crying and writhing from the pain. Sophie didn't know how but she knew that she was inflicting on Lady Gisela. From miles upon miles away. She stopped. Getting up, she wiped away her tears and started walking back. Lady Gisela was going to pay. And Sophie was going to be there to make sure of it.
