Chapter 6: Familiar Faces

It had been a few days after the whole Negan escaping his cell. Michonne had just got back too that night. Jesus was dead and Maggie was with Georgie and the twins. Michonne knew about the skins freaks, they were the ones that killed Jesus.

Judith ended up spying on Michonne when she was speaking with Negan, Judith is annoyed that Michonne can't see that Negan has changed so Judith is a mood with Michonne at the moment. But you were still able to speak with Judith.

Security had been more more important now. Everyone who went down to see Negan had to have someone else go down with them just in case they didn't lock the door. And Michonne had finally agreed to go to the fair that is in a few days.

It was late morning, you were down in Negan's cell. You had brought him down some food you wanted to spend time with him. And you wanted to make sure he wouldn't escape.

"We're leaving for the fair tomorrow. So I won't be around for a few days. I can stay if you want?" You mentioned.

"Don't worry about me doll. Go and have fun. See everyone, I'll be fine I'm not gonna escape." Negan reassured you.

You then heard Michonne firmly say "Judith, stay with your brother."  You looked confused and a little bit concerned.

"It's probably nothing" you tried not to think about it.

"But it's worrying the shit out of you." He stated.

"I've just been on high alert since Michonne said about those skin freaks killing Jesus. There clearly more dangerous than I thought." You said.

"Look go up and see what's going on. I don't mind. Gabriel's coming down here soon." Negan hinted.

You got up and walked over to the bars, you then kissed Negan through the bars and said "I love you." As you headed out.

You walked up to see Judith, Gracie and R.J all playing together. You looked around to find Michonne. "Michonne's gone with daddy to the gate" Gracie told you.

"Thank you!" You smiled and hurried over to the gates.

You then shouted up to Michonne "what's going on?" As she was stood on the platform with Laura and Aaron.

"We've got some familiar faces." She smirked and looked happy as she headed down on the ladder.

The gates started to open you could see 4 people but couldn't make them out. You got closer to the gate and immediately saw it was Daryl.

"D-Daryl?!" You were gobsmacked you couldn't believe it was him. Daryl sped walked to you and you ran towards him. You both hugged each other for a while. To be fair you felt quite emotional as you hadn't seen Daryl for years.

"How are you? It's been forever!" You pulled away and wiped your eyes trying to cover the fact that you were crying a little bit.

"Hey, I know." Daryl's gruff voice spoke as he smiled at you, he was happy to see you.

"Who's this?" You leaned over and started to pet a dog.

"Oh yeah, this is dog. I found him whilst I've been out there" Daryl looked down at the dog.

"Seriously, you called him dog?" You scoffed as you looked over to Daryl as dog started to lick your face.

"Just be happy he likes you." Daryl laughed.

"Yeah yeah." You joked around.

"Anyways Henry's hurt. He needs to go to the infirmary." Daryl mentioned.
